Today’s game was a mid Herts supplementary game against division 1 team GT united. With the game going 3-0 in the first half and the ballers fairly comfortable it was an opportunity to test out a different formation and look at some players in slightly different positions. The ballers kept control of the game for almost all its entirety and on a different day the scoreline would have been a lot greater

FULL TIME: Stevenage 7 – 2 Wormley Rovers 🔵⚽
A dominant display from the Ballers as Stevenage storm past Wormley Rovers with an emphatic 7–2 victory.
The first half saw Stevenage battling against a heavy wind, which suited Wormley’s direct style however it was the ballers who took the lead. Stevenage moved the ball brilliantly, creating chance after chance and seeing goals shared across multiple scorers. The moment of the match came from Seye, who spotted the keeper slightly off the line and unleashed an absolute screamer from distance 🚀
Despite the scoreline, Wormley had a couple of dangerous moments, but Alex stepped up with two outstanding saves at crucial points to keep Stevenage firmly in control.
A performance full of quality, energy and teamwork — and on another day the scoreline could have been even bigger. Well done to Hattrick hero Jamel
⭐ MOTM: Alex – two huge saves when it mattered most.

Hitchin Town FC 2–2 Stevenage Futsal
Stevenage Futsal put in a strong away performance at Priory School but had to settle for a point after a late equaliser from Hitchin Town FC.
Stevenage started the game brightly, dominating possession and moving the ball well. The team’s recent work in training on supporting the attacking players was clear to see, with midfielders pushing forward and creating more options in attack. The pressure paid off as Stevenage scored twice in the first half to take control of the game.
The wingers were particularly impressive, stretching the Hitchin defence and constantly looking to create chances as Stevenage pushed for a third goal. However, Hitchin managed to pull one back before the break, leaving the score at 2–1 heading into halftime.
In the second half, Stevenage continued to push forward and came close to extending their lead. One effort crashed against the crossbar, while another dangerous cross saw the opposition goalkeeper make a great save to deny what looked like a certain goal.
Despite the strong performance, Hitchin found a late equaliser in the second half to bring the match level at 2–2 by the final whistle.
⭐ Man of the Match: Seye – a commanding display in defence, driving the team forward and leading from the back throughout the game.
