Football is a funny game… and that couldn’t have been more true for our U13 Navy team in the League Cup Final this weekend. ⚽💙

Sometimes you can give absolutely everything, work your socks off, and still not come away with the result you hoped for. But this team should be incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved this season.

Two medals collected on Saturday capped off an amazing year for the girls — a fantastic achievement and a reflection of all their hard work, commitment and team spirit throughout the season. 🏅🏅

Most importantly, as always, the girls represented the Club brilliantly, showing true Starlet values from start to finish and making everyone proud. ⭐

It’s not a cup final without penalties… and what a way to win it! 🏆⚽💛

Huge congratulations to our U16 Golds, who were crowned champions after an incredible cup final victory over St Albans City Youth Community Football Club in the Hertfordshire Girls Football Partnership League Junior Club Shield on Saturday.

After an intense battle, the girls held their nerve in the penalty shootout to come out triumphant — showing unbelievable character, determination and teamwork when it mattered most. 💪👏

What a fitting ending to nearly TEN years of dedication from Steve, as he hangs up his coaching boots after an amazing journey with the team. Fred and Steve have made a great team this season. A truly special moment for everyone involved. ❤️

Sadly, there were no big post-match celebrations this time… it’s GCSE season for the girls! 📚✏️ But what an incredible memory for them all to take away.

Well done girls — you’ve made everyone at the club incredibly proud! 💛

Being Guard of Honour for Stevenage Football Club vs Wigan Athletic at Stevenage FC, The Lamex Stadium this weekend was already an incredible experience…

But then they scored the goal that secured their play-off place — what an atmosphere! ⚽🔥

The excitement, the pride, the memories… days like this are what football is all about. Our girls represented the club brilliantly and, as always, had the best time doing it. 💙

Moments like these will stay with them forever.
