All things Roman and racing!!
It’s been a while! We decided to not do the last few races of last season. They were really far away (other side of the country) and Roman’s kart just wasn’t the best. I know all track time is good time but we had to make this decision based on family dynamics, finances and what he would gain at this stage. Anyways, he was back on track today for a test day. We then have 2 races to finish out this year and then we will see what March 2026 brings.

Seriously can not be more proud of this boy!! He has finished 9th in Natska championship. He hasn’t been racing for very long only starting as a novice just over a year ago. He pushes himself every race to try and get better. His not be lucky enough to have a very good kart or engine and is racing on one that Barclay got rid of and Barnwell have now also had for years. It has definitely seen better days. Despite this he has done amazing, beating 31 other racers to claim a top 10 position. My boy has the biggest heart out of everyone I know. He smiles at everyone and cheers on all of his peers. He very rarely has a bad word to say about anyone. Roman, keep being you and your dreams will come true. Well done Ro-Ro 🥰

Nothing better than winning a trophy at the same race meet your best friend also wins a trophy. These 2 support each other through everything. Win or lose they are there for each other. Roman got a p8 today after a really bad wet day yesterday. Everyday is a learning day. Onwards and upwards

Is it even a holiday if we not on a track? Joined by his dad and sister this time. Last time he raced his dad was 3yrs ago and his dad won. Let’s see if all the hours we’ve spent at tracks and at club have paid off!! Go Roman!!!

He only went and got p3 at Hooton!!! So super proud of this boy. And just look at that smile. He could come 1st or last and he smiles just as big. Happy in a sport that he enjoys and accepts him for who he is. Well done Ro

First race back at natska. Not the greatest start. Bent rear bumper, bent drive arm (think it’s called), dented front bumper, 1 dnf, sprained wrist and a few wipe outs along the way. However this boy amazes me with his attitude. He came off smiling after every race. He doesn’t need to finish first to be happy. Whether he is 1st, 8th or last he just loves racing. He loves the competition of the race. He doesn’t want an easy win, he wants to feel challenged and when he finally gets a top position he will know it’s down to his hard work and persistence. Could not be anymore prouder of him. Roman, keep reaching for your dreams.
