We have a wonderful group on a Monday morning 10am-12pm, Caring Herts (formally Compassionate Neighbours group) for friendship, tea, biscuits and much more! No booking required

Just to make you all aware the cafe looks a little different from outside....dont worry, it is still our fabulous cafe! We have reflective film over the windows to reduce the heat coming in from the sun, especially as we are now experiencing very hot days. This will make our lovely customers, staff and volunteers much more comfortable on days of extreme heat 💚

Council ward surgeries are normally held on the second Thursday of the month, however, this month it will be on the 16th. The cafe is closed for food, but will be open 10am-11am for the Labour Councillors. The Reform surgery will be held at Hampson Park (see flyer for further details).

We are going to close the cafe early due to extreme heat inside the cafe, as I need to make sure our lovely staff, volunteers and customers stay safe . Apologies for any inconvenience caused and I appreciate your understanding .

Advanced Notice:
The cafe will be closed from Tuesday 14th July and will reopen 21st July. This is to enable our lovely staff and volunteers to have some well earned time off, maintenance jobs and a deep clean

Please be aware that we are having increased amounts of broken glass and other litter left in the car park in front of the community centre and church. I have reported this issue to SBC.
Please do report it if you witness any antisocial behaviour, such as breaking glass bottles etc.

We have just seen a report in the local newspaper, of a robbery of an elderly gentleman from outside Nisa last Thursday at 2pm (25th June). Police would like to speak with this man. Please call 101 if you see him.

Our cafe will be open today (Thursday 25th June), however, we will be shutting our doors at 1pm (last orders for food 12pm).
This is to keep our lovely staff, volunteers and customers safe.

I (Zoe) will be at the centre until 12pm should you be nearby and require a drink of water. The door to the centre will be on the locking system (as the nursery will be in) so please ring the buzzer to my office (on the metal panel to the right hand side of the door)
