We had some children's items donated/left outside the community centre (with no note) on Saturday morning.
If you would like to donate anything to the community centre or Nursery etc, please make arrangements with who you are donating to.

Advanced notice. The cafe will not be open 15th September until 29th September (we reopen on Tuesday 29th at 9.30am).This is to enable our lovely staff to have some well earned time off and for essential maintenance). Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Please be advised that due to the extreme heat, the cafe will be closing early today. Food orders will stop at 12.15pm.

Just to make you all aware the cafe looks a little different from outside....dont worry, it is still our fabulous cafe! We have reflective film over the windows to reduce the heat coming in from the sun, especially as we are now experiencing very hot days. This will make our lovely customers, staff and volunteers much more comfortable on days of extreme heat 💚

Council ward surgeries are normally held on the second Thursday of the month, however, this month it will be on the 16th. The cafe is closed for food, but will be open 10am-11am for the Labour Councillors. The Reform surgery will be held at Hampson Park (see flyer for further details).

We are going to close the cafe early due to extreme heat inside the cafe, as I need to make sure our lovely staff, volunteers and customers stay safe . Apologies for any inconvenience caused and I appreciate your understanding .

Advanced Notice:

Please be aware that we are having increased amounts of broken glass and other litter left in the car park in front of the community centre and church. I have reported this issue to SBC.
Please do report it if you witness any antisocial behaviour, such as breaking glass bottles etc.
