There really isn’t much more I could ask for after a first trial!

Hearing that the girls loved their first DanceBeat class so much that they were already asking when they could come back honestly makes my heart so happy. 🥰

For me, it’s never just about teaching steps. It’s about creating a space where children feel comfortable, encouraged and excited to come back — where they can grow, belong and shine in their own way. ✨

And sometimes, the best feedback comes straight from the children themselves. ❤️

With so many of our dancers heading back to school, breaking in those shiny new school shoes and potentially discovering that new shoes + lots of walking = achy feet… we thought this one was rather appropriate! 😆

So, if you had to choose…

Wacky Wednesday! 🤪👟

We’re back with another VERY important question… 😂

✨ GUILDFORD 2026 — WHAT A DAY! ✨Our competition squad headed to Guildford on Sunday for our final area qualifier of 2026...

✨ GUILDFORD 2026 — WHAT A DAY! ✨

Our competition squad headed to Guildford on Sunday for our final area qualifier of 2026 — and what a way to finish the qualifying season! 💜

We absolutely LOVE this competition. It’s the perfect opportunity for one final push, one final chance to put everything we’ve been working on out onto that floor, and for our dancers to test themselves against some of the best in the circuit.

And boy, did they deliver! 👏🏼

⭐️ SET DANCE

Three of our squad members took to the floor in Set Dance, and we couldn’t have been prouder.

One of our dancers received the most callbacks they’ve had all season (making a final!)— an incredible achievement!

Another took to the floor in a brand-new category for the very first (and only!) time and came away with callbacks. We were SO thrilled to see that confidence rewarded. 💜

And then… one of our lucky, lucky dancers secured one of those elusive Grand Finals qualifying spots! 🥹🏆

We are absolutely over the moon for all three. Going out at the final competition of the qualifying season is no easy feat. The nerves somehow feel that little bit bigger when you know there is only one opportunity left to qualify… and they all stepped up beautifully.

TEAM IMPACT

Next up was our team, IMPACT! 💥

After the summer break, we honestly didn’t know what to expect — but they went out there and WON! 🏆

What a fantastic achievement and such a brilliant way to finish their season.

And with that win came a BIG milestone…

We have officially lost our third and final life in Beginners, meaning that in 2027 we will be moving up into the Starter category! 😱

Which obviously means there is now the small matter of…

New routines.
New choreography.
New outfits.
New music.
New everything.

Me pretending I’m completely fine about this… 🫠😂

⭐️ SOLOS & PAIRS

And then came our solos and pairs, with lots of our dancers taking brand-new choreography to the floor for the very first time.

And what a result!

✨ 6 individual dancers made their finals and placed in their respective categories — phenomenal!

✨ 5 fabulous pairings placed in their respective pairs categories — another incredible achievement!

The wait is almost over… 💜💙

Tomorrow we kick off our Autumn/Winter Term 1 with our Stevenage students, and I honestly cannot wait! 🥰✨

This term brings a brand-new class structure to Dance Beat, giving our dancers the opportunity to learn, grow and build those all-important foundations at the right stage for them.

⭐ Little Stars | Ages 4–6
A fun and welcoming introduction to dance, where our youngest dancers can build confidence, make friends and take their first little steps into their dance journey.

⭐ Junior Beginners | Ages 7+
Perfect for our older beginners, with a focus on learning new skills, building confidence and developing strong foundations.

And I’m especially excited because several brand-new families have already booked their FREE trials with me across both Friday and Saturday! 🥹💃
