πβ½οΈ U12 Blues had another game against Clark Drive Yellow at the weekend because their planned fixture had been cancelled.
π€© Poppy was captain and played brilliantly in Mid Centre as well a scoring a fantastic goal in the first half while playing as striker ππ»
π₯Ά The conditions were tough. Wind and rain.
ππ» This however did not stop the Blues from once again making sure they got something from the game. Three excellent goals, and solid performances all over the pitch.
π We ask a lot of the girls and the coaches were extremely proud of how they handled themselves today, playing the game in the correct manner and coming away with deserved reward.
ππ» Another great thing to look forward toβ¦. Next games should hopefully be springtime conditions instead of driving wind and rain π

β½οΈπ¨οΈβ€οΈπ The U10 girls played Crosshouse Blacks on Sunday - at a very rainy and windy Montgomerie Park!
Unfortunately due to some no shows and some late call offs we ended up with only 6 girls who accepted the last minute changes of positions with smiles and just got on with it despite the weather π
π€© Captained by Rosie in the first half and HC in the second half the girls battled against the wind with some great defending. A goal by Rosie and some fantastic goal keeping by HM kept us even into the second half.
ππ» The girls played some fantastic football into the second half. Passes and communication were on top form leading to a positive ending to a very miserable morning!!
π₯Ά Big shout to all the parents who braved the cold and wet to cheer us on and for providing the half time sugar hit π©· Also Dad of the match to HMs Dad for holding the goals down when they kept trying to blow away! π€£π₯³

β° β½οΈβ½οΈβ½οΈ it might feel like an earlier start than usual for our teams tomorrow after losing an hours sleep tonight π± but it does mean lighter nights for training ππ»β½οΈβ½οΈβ½οΈ

β½οΈπβ½οΈ U14 Blues were in a π Challenge Cup tie on Saturday v Central Girls YPL
β½οΈ From kick off this was a fast paced game! Against a strong opposition, we faught hard to keep it to 0-0 at half time. Central Girls came out fighting and got an early goal second half. Abigail played in goal second half and she worked hard, with multiple great saves. Full time result 0-3, well done to Central Girls, good luck for your next fixture!
ππ» Thanks to Rose Reilly who came to watch and support the girls, thanks for the post match chat you gave the girls!
π League matches start next week for the 14s - well done girls and roll on next weekend - youβll smash it ππ»πβ½οΈ

β½οΈβ€οΈβ½οΈ A fantastic display by our U12 Reds on Sunday v East Kilbride with lots of goals coming from JD, Lucia G and Reyyan β½οΈβ€οΈβ½οΈ
Some of the skills on the pitch were exactly what they practice in training week in week out so it was great to see it during the match ππ»ππ»ππ»
π₯
Toni and Kinley had clean sheets in goal too ππ»
This was the teamβs final grading game to decide which league we will be in andβ¦ they made it into Tier 1οΈβ£ βοΈ πππ
π The girls should be super proud of all the hard work theyβve put in to achieve this. Well done girls π₯³ β½οΈβ€οΈ

πβ½οΈπ U12 Blues opponents had to pull out of the match last weekendβ¦ but the girls made the best of it with a training game ππ»
With no other teams booked to play on the 7-aside pitches, the girls asked if they could play the coaches but on the full-size 11-aside pitch πͺπ»
It was a hard battle between both teams but the girls did well and fought to beat the coaches 10-9 ππ»
π€© Despite the increased size of the pitch, the girls didnt stop running and determination was shown by all.
Well done girls - and coaches!! πβ½οΈπ

β€οΈπβ½οΈ The U10s Red vs Blue derby was fantastic with a rare sighting of all 6 coaches in the same place at the same time!!
π€© The girls really shine when playing against each other and their confidence and determination really comes through. We need to try and harness this and bring it to other games πͺπ»
π₯
Unfortunately for the Reds the Blues pulled ahead from the start with some fantastic goals from H although Goal Keeper for the Reds Evie made some very brave saves to keep the score as low as possible ππ»
π₯
The Reds managed to pull it back a bit in the second half with a goal each from Rosie and Ruby with several more attempts being thwarted by goal keeper Emilia.
ππ»π Some fantastic defence from both teams with Abby and Issy from the Blues and Eva and Ruby in the Reds.
All the girls played well and it was great to hear more communication between them as they played β½οΈ β€οΈ π β½οΈ
