🥋 Happy Father’s Day to all our Senjokai Karate Dads 🥋
The ones doing the taxi runs, carrying the bags, tying the belts, waiting about at classes and travelling to competitions.
And a special mention to the dads who are actually on the mats training alongside their kids getting kicked, corrected, humbled, and pretending they’re not absolutely burst after the warm-up. 🤣
That’s what makes the dojo special.
Parents and kids sharing the journey, learning together, laughing together and sometimes grading together. (Or stuck at at tournament on Fathers day 🤣)
Hope all our Karate Dads have a brilliant Father’s Day.
From all of us at Senjokai Karate Academy ❤️

🥋🇯🇵 SHODAN DIPLOMA PRESENTATION 🇯🇵🥋
Maisie Walker was unable to attend last night’s Dan Grade presentation evening, but fortunately she was back on the mats today for the Watanabe Sensei course.
It was a pleasure to present Maisie with her official **Shodan diploma from JKS Headquarters in Tokyo**.
Achieving Shodan is a major milestone and represents years of hard work, commitment and perseverance.
Congratulations Maisie — a fantastic achievement and very well deserved.

🔥 First session with Watanabe Sensei is underway! 🔥
Fantastic energy on the mats already at Senjokai HQ as our members get the chance to train with one of the top instructors from JKS Japan.
These opportunities are exactly what keeps standards moving forward — learning, training, listening and improving together.
A brilliant start to what promises to be an excellent day of karate.
🇯🇵🥋 JKS Karate at its best.

Achieving Shodan is a significant milestone in any karateka's journey. Contrary to popular belief, a black belt is not the end of training—it marks the beginning of a deeper understanding of karate and a greater responsibility to uphold its values.
Each of these students has demonstrated dedication, perseverance, discipline and character over many years of training. They should be immensely proud of what they have achieved.
Congratulations to you all on earning your place amongst the Senjokai black belts. We look forward to supporting you as you continue your journey towards even greater goals.
