Delighted to confirm regular indoor training near Kilmarnock / Craigie at Debbie Taylor’s yard this winter. 😃💃🥳

First date Tuesday 6th October and will be every 2 or 3 weeks thereafter once folk confirm what suits best.

🔹£40 for 30 minutes
🔹£55 for 45 minutes
🔹Afternoon & evening slots
🔹Flatwork, position work, test practice
🔹All levels and ages welcome

Great days flatwork coaching in Fife at Lindores Equestrian last week. Big thank you to Yasmin at YH Equestrian for inviting me to coach at her ever popular Eventing Camp. Wee trip to Howe Equestrian Centre 10 days ago for the Inter 1 Scottish Championships. Fair to say I didn’t quite get it right!! 🤦‍♀️🙄🫣 Warming up for the wrong test time, losing my pedal in the trot work, mistakes in both the tempi lines and forgetting the test for a costly -2%. Oopsadaisie!! However, always look on the bright side - we earnt our place to compete, Merrie coped well with a new venue, we had some nice moments and managed to get 63% despite the woopsies! 🤣 Nice rosette and wall plaque to add to the collection. 🥈Lessons learnt - onwards and upwards!

Marvellous Merrie had a pretty rotten winter with a not-very-straight-forward tooth extraction and sinus operations, resulting in lots of time off to recover. Huge thanks to Edinburgh Vet School dental team for managing her.

We ventured to a couple of shows this Spring but Merrie was a little overwhelmed with the piaffe and passage so we took a step back at the weekend to get her confidence back in the white boards. Delighted with her progress over the 3 days at the fabulous Bogenraith Equestrian Centre with scores of 64.7, 67.9 and 68% in the Inter 1 classes 🥈🥇🥇. Qualifications for Scottish Champs and Regionals achieved. ✔️ With some more confidence building outings I’m hopeful that she will be able to have another go at Inter 2 soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Much fun! Clever girl! Love her to bits!🥂🍾🤩
