With entries closing soon, we thought we’d take a look at the numbers behind this year’s Podfather Stirling 10K… and there are some great stats already emerging! 👇

❤️ One of our favourites is the almost perfect split between male and female runners, with 52% male and 48% female. It’s fantastic to see such a balanced field lining up on the start line.

👏 A huge shout out goes to Dundee Road Runners, who currently top the club standings with an incredible 57 runners entered! Thank you to everyone at the club for your fantastic support, and to all the other running clubs who continue to encourage their members to take part in our event year after year.

⭐ And finally, a very special mention to George Inglis, who is set to take on the Podfather Stirling 10K at the remarkable age of 86. George is a brilliant example that running really is for everyone, and we can’t wait to see him on the start line.

Every year, we get a number of messages after entries have closed asking if we can squeeze in one more entry… unfortunately, we can’t!

Once entries close, we immediately place orders for T-shirts, medals and all the other supplies we need for race day, so we simply can’t accommodate late entries.

Last year, we introduced our new and improved PB Bell… and it was such a hit that the handle actually fell off it! 🤣 That’s what happens when so many runners are smashing personal bests on our fast course.

The bell is back and ready for more ringing this year! 🎉

Our fast, flat course is designed to help you run your best, and we’ll once again have our fantastic pacers leading the way at:

Stirling race organisers hope to break through four-figure entry mark for 2026

We’re delighted to bring back our Pregnancy & Postpartum Policy for 2026. 🤍 👶

We recognise that pregnancy and postpartum recovery are unique to every individual, and we want to support our runners through every stage of their journey.

If you become pregnant after entering, or have given birth within 12 months of the event and don’t feel ready to take part, you can defer your entry to our 2027 event.

Please note:
• Deferral requests must be made at least 4 weeks prior to the event
• This deferral can only be used once
• Entries are not eligible for refunds or transfer to another runner under this policy
