Can 30-mins of exercise really prevent anxiety?
This completely unbelievable study discovered the answer…
Researchers investigating the anti-panic effects of exercise had participants complete 30 minutes of aerobic exercise.
They were then given a drug called CCK-4 - which is known to trigger intense anxiety, a racing heart, and breathlessness...
What happened next surprised everyone…
The calming effects of exercise were so powerful that they were comparable to findings seen with benzodiazepine medications.
In fact, the researchers suggested that exercise had made participants almost ‘immune’ to panic attacks.
Think about that for a moment...
Exercise was able to counteract anxiety that had literally been injected into the bloodstream!
It's yet another powerful reminder that exercise doesn't just help manage anxiety...
It can prevent it in the first place 🧠💪🏼

In the past 4 years the chance of your child developing a mental health issue has risen by 50%…
This is what you can do as a parent to prevent struggles…
✅ Help them take up exercise. And don’t just tell them to do it - show them how to do it! Children are sponges and want to see their mum and dad be healthy too!
✅ Check in with them regularly. They might not want to talk about their feelings immediately, but the simple act of you doing this will teach them that talking is a good thing!
✅ Allow them to express themselves. Whatever they are interested and passionate about, let them explore it.
✅ Notice any behaviour changes. Changes to mood, talkativeness, defensiveness, energy, eating habits and sleeping habits are all signs.
So, let’s get moving, let’s get talking and let’s get to work on expressing ourselves.
