Good luck to our younger teams who are off to Creiff this morning to take part in there 2026 football festival.

Another great day of football after watching our young Colts start their football journey it was onto watch our 2015s play. Since they have been moved up to advanced they have had to find their feet quickly. After a few tricky defeats they have went on a great run of games and today saw them win their third game in a row. Playing at this level every player has to b at their best to compete.
Today saw them score five goals each one better than the one before. All the hard work the players put in saw them reap the benefits some great individual displays but more important a great team display.
Not to b out done the afternoon saw our 2014 s play in a seven goal thriller. They had been on a rich vein of form going into this game having won seven on the bounce. With no referee it was decided to have a friendly unfortunately for Cowie missing three regulars their unbeaten run came to an end. Not to b too down hearted as the players all contributed to brilliant and competitive game which could have swung either way. Already looking forward to next week, well done to all the players today.

🌟Our youngest colts 🌟

Great to see Cowie Colts young team play their first games. Watching from the side you would think they had been playing for years. Watching them play I could see the Colts future was in safe hands playing with flair and plenty of smiles and some good football on show. Some of the goals they scored were unbelievable two/ three passing moves and assured finishing.
Every player can b proud of themselves worked hard from start to finish and was great to see all the hard work that’s done in training pay off. A big well done to everyone keep up the good work. Few faces missing but plenty of games to be played yet ⚽️

Cowie Colts 2015s kept up their strong start to the season with another pre season win. Following recent wins against central team Dunipace and Stirling Albion.

Today’s opponent were Grahmnston another central team. It can sometimes be hard to access levels when playing outwith your league. Cowie had nothing to worry about keeping up their unbeaten pre-season run with another hard fought victory⚽️

Today’s game at Dawson park put up some unexpected obstacles with the game being on grass the park was heavy after a few days of rain. The young Colts being used to playing on Astro had to adjust to the game being slower and ball being heavier. A strong wind also made the game of two halves.
With Cowie missing their centre forward they were able to bring in two of their recent signing who both showed up well. Harry started only his second game and worked well through out the first half which finished all square with Cowie playing against the wind.

The second half saw wee Leo s play his first game for the club. Despite his size he played well and was unlucky not to score on his debut. He never gave the home defence a second and his twisting and turning while in possession gave the home defence a lot to think about. Cowie went on to score three goals in the second half. Well done to Charlie who managed to play a full game with his broken. Finger. Welcome back. Good luck to Grahmnston for the coming season they were perfect hosts in a cracking game of football all that is good in grass roots.

We have new training session starting tomorrow for our littlest colts ⚽️

As everyone dusts of the cobwebs of the holiday break. Cowie Colts 2015s were back in action on Saturday morning with a short trip to Denny to play Dunipace ⚽️


It was great game to watch with both teams playing some good football. Cowie Colts opened the scoring through Ollie after a strong run down the left finishing with a low drive to keepers left. Dunipace brought it back one each with a lovely one two on the left before squaring it to the middle where the forward netted with a cool finish. As it looked like going into half time all square Lucas broke up the park hit a nice shot passed the keeper putting Cowie 2-1 up going into the second half.

The second half was a little more comfortable for Cowie but Dunipace always looked dangerous on the attack. A scramble in the Dunipace box resulted in a tap in for Cowie,Two more goals were added from set plays. The first coming from Joey who went to head and ended up chesting it into net. Last but not least came from Charlie who drove a low drive from the corner that keeper failed to hold. This was great wee derby game played in good spirit with both teams showing up well.
It would not b fair not to mention our keeper who was solid from start and the solid shift from Billy who worked all game down our right. Callan ran all game and was unlucky not to get his name on the score sheet but did get a couple of assists.
