This week is Eating Disorders Awareness Week (23rd Feb – 1st March) 💚

At least 1.25 million people in the UK are living with an eating disorder. Behind every statistic is a teammate, a friend, a family member who deserves understanding and support.

Eating disorders are serious mental health conditions, including:
• Anorexia Nervosa
• Bulimia Nervosa
• Binge Eating Disorder
• ARFID
• OSFED
• Pica & Rumination Disorder

They don’t always look the way people expect. They affect people of all genders, ages, and sporting backgrounds, including athletes.
As a club, we want to help break stigma, encourage conversations, and remind anyone struggling that you are not alone.

If you or someone you know is struggling, support is available through and other professional services.

With plenty of fun this year, from winter and summer nationals chaos to socials, SSS, and good times at matches throughout the season. A lot of memories made, on and off the pitch. Looking forward to what’s still to come in the new year. 🤍💚

‼️ WINTER NATIONALS ‼️
It’s time to start looking ahead to Winter Nationals.

This tournament is held at Rugby Polo Club, just outside Birmingham, and it’s one of the biggest events of the year. You’ll get the chance to play against other UK university teams, meet loads of new people, and enjoy three days of great polo with over 100 teams taking part. It’s genuinely a fantastic experience and a great break from uni.

All the key info is below.
If you’re interested, please head over to the Facebook group and sign up via the form. You can choose how many chukkas you’d like to play, and chukka fees are listed below.
The club will cover accommodation and transport.

If you have any questions, just message the group chat.

You’ll need to pay £50 to secure your place so we can book accommodation. We are hoping to finalise the teams in the next week.

📅 Dates
5th – 9th February (including travel days)

💸 Chukka Prices
* Beginner: £70 per chukka
* Novice: £80 per chukka

**A full seat is 4 chukkas, but there is no problem if you don’t want to play a full set!

Required Payments

* £65 SUPA membership
* £20 stabling fee
* £10 players’ party ticket (optional)
* Food & drink

These prices are roughly accurate but may change slightly. Payments can be staggered over the next few months (you won’t need to pay everything at once)

Such an amazing night spent together as a club. A massive thank you to everyone who came along and to our social sec for arranging our Christmas dinner 2025.

It’s the perfect excuse to dust off those heels, pull out that dress that’s been waiting for its moment, and enjoy a night of wine, great food, and plenty of laughs with the team 🍷🤍💚
