What a fantastic week we’ve had doing the ‘Tennis Blitz’!
Coach Sandy has visited every primary 1&2 pupil and delivered a high energy and fun tennis session at St Ninians, Borestone, Allan’s, Cambusbarron and Raploch Primary Schools.
Tomorrow is the Big Tennis Party Stirling Lawn Tennis and Squash Club between 2pm-4pm. Lots of prizes, giveaways and fun guaranteed.

Clubspark / Stirling Lawn Tennis & Squash Club / 100 Club Rules The purpose of the 100-Club is to raise funds for the club. The money will be paid into the SLTSC bank account and used to support club activities and will be listed in the Annual Accounts.

📣Ladies’ squash and racketball is back on court📣

While clearing out the squash viewing gantry, we came across these fantastic old photographs of the ladies’ squash section at Stirling Lawn Tennis and Squash Club.

One of them shows our ladies’ team as Central League Champions, 1989–90 — a brilliant reminder that SLT&SC once had a thriving ladies’ squash section, full of players, teams, friendships, matches and club spirit.

Now, we would love to start building that again.

This Wednesday, we’re running a relaxed Ladies’ Squash and Racketball Session at the club.

This session is open to ladies of all standards — complete beginners, returners, current members, former players, and anyone who has never picked up a racket before.

Racketball is a brilliant way to get started. It’s easy to pick up, great fun, sociable, and a fantastic way to build confidence on court. Squash will also be available for anyone who wants to give that a try too.

You do not need to be a member to come along.
Non-members can attend as a free introductory taster session.

We’ll provide rackets and balls — just bring yourself, clean trainers, and a willingness to give it a go.

No pressure. No booking needed. Just reply to this post or come along on the night.

It would be brilliant to see a strong ladies’ section back at the club again. These old photos show what was once here — now it’s time to build the next chapter.

Meet Callum Shaw — our new squash and racketball coach at SLTSC

We’re delighted to welcome Callum Shaw as squash and racketball coach at Stirling Lawn Tennis and Squash Club.

Callum is an accredited Scottish Squash Level 2 coach and is currently studying Sports Development and Coaching at the University of Stirling. He brings fresh energy, enthusiasm, and a real passion for helping players enjoy the game, build confidence, and improve on court.

Callum will be looking to develop coaching for:

✅ Junior squash
✅ Adult beginners
✅ Players returning to the sport
✅ Club players looking to improve
✅ Racketball players of all levels

Whether you’re completely new, looking to get your child started, or wanting to sharpen up your own game, Callum offers a friendly and encouraging route onto court.
