📢 Coaching opportunities across Scotland.

Following the launch of Wee Smashers last week, Scottish Squash is excited to announce another new initiative made possible through Sportscotland’s Club Support Programme.

The programme will support seven lead clubs and initially around 18 feeder clubs across Scotland, strengthening coaching provision, developing future coaches and creating more opportunities for people to get involved in squash.

Applications are now open for the coaching positions across the seven lead clubs.

🏆 The Racketthon is back!

After several years away, our club Racketthon returned with a great day of squash, tennis and table tennis, bringing members together for some friendly competition and plenty of fun.

Congratulations to Ewan McMurray, our overall champion, who beat fellow finalist Neale Mooney by 26 points to 20! 👏

🎾 SLTSC Tennis Championships 2026 🏆

Comebacks, close contests and deciding tiebreaks marked this year’s Tennis Championships at Stirling Lawn Tennis and Squash Club.

Beth Mackay claimed the Ladies’ Singles title against Lilian Laing in three sets, while Colin Sanchez fought back from a set down to beat Jamie McDonald in the Men’s Singles final.

Both doubles finals went to deciding tiebreaks, with Jack Lindsay and Vitaly Peressada winning the Men’s Doubles, and Lynda Lamont and Moyra McKeand taking the Ladies’ Doubles. Moyra also won the Ladies’ Plate, completing a championship double.

🏆 Ladies’ Singles: Beth Mackay
🏆 Men’s Singles: Colin Sanchez

Dillon also showed great resolve in the U18 final, recovering from a set down against Evan Matthews to secure the title.
