Since last Saturday, our team has had a busy and intensive period, resulting in a number of callouts over recent days.
A massive thank you must go to our incredible volunteers and their families for their unwavering commitment during a deeply demanding week.
Sadly, a number of these incidents resulted in fatalities. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the families and friends of those involved.

Following a report from Lomond Mountain Rescue Team on a callout to assist an individual at Rowardennan who was unwell, possibly due to drinking water from a local untreated source, a spokesperson for Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Authority said:
"We are aware of recent incidents of walkers in the Rowardennan area becoming unwell. Our Rangers are on the ground alongside partner agencies, including Lomond Mountain Rescue, to support those who require assistance and to provide advice and guidance on how to enjoy the outdoors safely.
When exploring the outdoors, we recommend bringing your own treated water to stay safely hydrated, or using a trusted drinking water source i.e. a Scottish Water Drinking Fountain. While Scotland's burns, rivers and lochs may look pristine, they can carry invisible risks when used as a drinking water source. If you must drink from a natural water source, it is essential to boil the water first to make it as safe as possible as water filters may not guarantee safe drinking water."
