We’re calling Full Time on Initiations.

Along with Stirling Sports Union and other Sports unions in Scotland, Stirling Underwater hockey supports the campaign.

We agree with the zero tolerance policy on initiations, as they have no place in our sports community.

At Underwater hockey we want everyone to feel welcome to join us without feeling unsafe or uncomfortable.

We are nominating to continue Stirlings campaign and show their support. 💚

💚 We are doing a fundraising event over the next month 💚
Our team is covering the distance from Stirling to Lands End (930 km) by running, cycling, rowing, swimming or walking. This is to raise funds for entry fees, accomodation and travel to student nationals this year in Leeds and to get us into shape! 💪🏼

Looking for something unusual for 2022? Come try Underwater Hockey!!

We play at the bottom of the pool with small sticks and push a puck along into the goal. If you fancy having a shot, then come along to our Give It A Go!

We will meet at the sports centre reception, before 18:30, where we will all go down to poolside together. Please wear your swimkit under your clothes, make sure to bring a towel and a pound coin for the locker (you can leave your things poolside if you prefer). We will provide the rest of the kit for you. Make sure you book onto the session using the 'UoS Sport' App. If you have any trouble with it then send us a message and we will help!!

We also kindly ask that you take a lateral flow before attending and please do not attend if you have any symptoms, have a case in your household or are not past your 10 days since positive result. We are aware people can leave their isolation after 7 days which is fine, but we'd rather have the extra precaution. If this results in you not being able to attend then get in touch with us and we can organise another session for you to attend instead. Thank you and hope to see you soon!!
