CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT
Monday night will see Beechwood Albion’s last game as a football team.
The club has been around in one form or another for the past 20 years plus.
The current management have been in charge of the club for just over 3 seasons and have enjoyed a little bit of success, with the highlight being the 1st division league and cup double in season 2021/22.
Firstly we would like to thank those who got us to this point, the people who first founded the club and ran it for all those years, this club wouldn't have been possible without your involvement and those that saved the club over the years.
We would like to thank all our sponsors over the last few years, especially The Bannockburn Miners Welfare which has become a second home for most of us.
We would also like to thank everyone that has given us support no matter how big or small during our time at the club.
Also we extend our gratatude to the SDAFA, a hugely underrated league, and the competitive nature of this season proves this.
To our rivals and opponents over the years we have enjoyed every minute of the battles on the park and respect all the volunteers and coaches involved in running an amateur football team, we as a collective have created a platform for men to perform and provided a safe space for many just for that 90 minutes.
Lastly and most importantly we want to thank the players. We have been blessed with a great squad that have mostly stuck together over the years. For anyone who has pulled on our famous red, we appreciate every minute of you guys at the club. You have been the heartbeat of Beechwood.
We hope to see you all at Clark Street on Monday the 10th for one last time.
Thank you everyone

FULL TIME
Beechwood Albion 2-1 Plean Amateur Football Club
Scorers
Kyle Wishart
Lewis Collie
MOTM
Fraser Barrell
Beechwood got back to winning ways with a well deserved victory of local rivals Plean this afternoon over at Alva Academy.
The heat was unbearable at times with the soft 4G surface boiling under foot.
Plean took the lead after a cross from the right caught out Ben and it landed in the top corner.
We fought back brightly though and had a equaliser quickly after, long throw from Davie found Chalky who's flick was dropped by the Plean keeper and Kyle was there to tap home.
HT 1-1
We went ahead early in the second half a ball from Kyle into Chalky was flicked into the path of Lewis Collie, who camly slotted past the Plean keeper.
There was chances at both ends however we felt like we could of made the game safe, with Fraser who had to replace Ben doing a fine job in goals and keeping a clean sheet.
Full time 2-1
Great result from the lads, who showed great endeavor to get over the line especially with a couple of boys missing we had to change various positions throughout the game.
We have one more game left again Vs Plean a week on Monday and we hope to see you there at Clark Street for one last time.
