THANK YOU 🙏
A big shout out and thanks goes to our U12/U14 girls tour sponsors!!!
This weekend our girls will be heading down to stay at .adventures Winmarleigh for some team building across the weekend.
The girls will be making a stop on the way home to visit play against salesharkswomen (& some Ex-Stirling County Youth Girls Players on both sides 🤩)
It looks to be a great weekend for our youngest of the girls section, where lifelong friendships will be formed and core memories made!!
It wouldn’t at all be possible without the kindness and generosity of our sponsors:

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day and all the incredible women & girls who make Stirling County Youth Girls what it is 🏉
From our players who show up every week with passion, determination and courage… to the parents who drive the miles, wash the muddy kit and cheer from the sidelines in all weather 🌧️ ❄️
To our team managers and volunteers who keep everything running behind the scenes, and to the female referees who continue to break barriers and lead the game from the middle.
A special thank you as well to the wives and partners of our coaches, who share their time, weekends and evenings with rugby so that our girls can have the opportunities they do.
Rugby is stronger because of the women and girls who play it, support it and lead it.
Today we celebrate you and the community that continues to grow the women’s game 👏🏼

Happy Birthday, Coach Al! 🎉❤️
From everyone at the Stirling County Youth Girls Section, we want to wish a very happy birthday to a truly exceptional coach and human.
Al is an integral part of our girls’ coaching setup at County (even if he did leave us for a few years, but you came back so we forgive you 😜)
He doesn’t just coach the fundamentals of the game, he shapes confident, respectful, well-rounded people both on and off the pitch. His kindness, patience and unwavering respect for every player he works with is something that never goes unnoticed and never unappreciated.
His coaching record speaks for itself. With a wrap sheet that includes countless players who have gone on to achieve professional and international honours. Many of whom still keep in touch to share their successes. That ongoing connection is a true testament to the care, dedication and belief he shows in every player.
Al’s impact stretches far beyond the training field. Including coining our often used slogan
“❤️ Work Hard 🤍 Look After Your Mates 🖤 Have Fun”
We are incredibly lucky to have you, Al. Thank you for everything you do for our girls, our club and the wider rugby community.
Enjoy your day — you deserve every bit of it! 🏉❤️🤍🖤

What a day at Bridgehaugh for our U14’s 🤩
They had a home game today in some very difficult and Muddy conditions.
Coach Graeme’s comments:
“The girls absolutely smashed it today, the most impressive part was their maturity and attitude. They have been very impressive this year but today was a great example of the class they have both mentally and physically.”

With no games this weekend for our U16 girls we look back at last weeks game where we hosted at Bridgehaugh
Here’s what coach Ben had to say:
“It was a good, competitive match from a team we’ve not played before, this season. They certainly put plenty of pressure on us and both teams attacked with intent. Good to see the County girls click back into shape after a long gap since we last played in December.
We had 3 debuts in our match day squad, so it’s another big development for the U16s.
Plenty more rugby to come in the Caley Cup, which we’re excited to be competing in and look forward to our next set of matches over the coming weeks”
