Ice hockey is having a moment. Have you noticed?
The women’s section is the fastest growing demographic in the UK. That’s been the case since way before Heated Rivalry, Off Campus, or that infamous Financial Times article and is part of the growing momentum around women’s sports globally. Love that.
The PWHL pulls in record crowds and here in Scotland we welcomed FOUR new women’s teams last season - Dundee Royals, Fife Arctic Foxes, Glasgow Thistles and a Moray based team. Added to the existing Steel Queens and Solway Sharks Ladies, we have the makings of a competitive Women’s SNL.
The Caledonia Steel Queens IHC are leading the way in Scottish women’s ice hockey. We are one of the biggest women’s ice hockey clubs in the UK with teams at U16, senior development level, WNIHL Division 2 and now WNIHL Elite. We pride ourselves on our culture, our values and our successes.
The 2026/27 season is our biggest challenge yet and we’re seeking sponsorship partners to help us make it a success.
I believe there is a real opportunity here for the right partner to join the Steel Queens and support our vision for the future of women’s ice hockey in Scotland.

🇮🇪🏒 Our U19 Junior Women's Team is getting Ready for Italy! 🇮🇹
The excitement is building as our Ireland U19 Junior Women's Team prepares to travel to Italy to compete in the Reitia Cup. This weekend they are down in Cork with the U14s training.
This tournament is another important step in the development of our athletes, giving them the opportunity to test themselves against top international opposition while proudly wearing the green jersey.
Representing your country is a privilege earned through dedication, hard work and commitment, and we couldn't be prouder of this group of players.
We wish the team and coaching staff a successful tournament and look forward to following every moment of their journey.

🏒 FUND THEIR PASSION 🏒
On Monday we announced the big news that we will compete in the Elite which is a national division.
Not only is the competition going to ramp up, but also the travel and logistics which ultimately means a greater financial burden.
We have therefore set up a go fund me to help us make the costs as manageable as possible for our players and volunteers.
£5 would be like paying to watch one of our games, which will still be free to attend, £20 like a family pass and £50 a season ticket. Even if every follower could go £1 we would be over the moon.
Donations can be made anonymously or by including your name. However you support us we are always grateful.
