2025 Scorps Awards ✨🦂

A massive congratulations to the nine Scorps who led the pack this year and have thus been rewarded by their peers. A fantastic year all round which has truly been reflected by this stellar group 💚

A special congratulations to our POTY Lily Merrett who has gone from strength to strength this year and won the lot - it’s been a pleasure to watch you grow into the player you are 🦂

Our Scorps of the year are our amazing refereeing duo Jack Harris & Gareth Hinds who together not only lead the nation in their craft but also facilitate all our athletes to play at every tournament. We’re grateful for all you both do 🙏

Once again our biggest EOSD and awards ever with 75 attendees. Double champs and still going strong. We’ll see you next year 🫡

South East Development Series Round 1 🦂

We’re back duking it out in the South East Development Series as we head back to Horsham this weekend. A special squad as we incorporate our affiliated university club Surrey into the side - with 8 debutants today! 🦂

A first taste of game time for the 2026 season and scratching the itch we’ve had for so long. Ready for some big games along the way 💪

ESTC 2025 Scorps 🦂

Our second batch of internationals are Scotland bound today ready for a big weekend at the European Seniors Touch Cup 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Haggis, flat sausage, and tattie scones on the breakfast menu. Dramatic dives, salacious steps, and big dubs available by lunch. Trophies, fancy dress, and guaranteed vibes at the after party come Sunday night. Just be careful when peeking under Smoth’s kilt 🫣

Good luck to all Scorps involved! Go big, go hard, and show the highlanders what were made of down here 💪

It’s international season and there’s an abundance of Scorps in action across Europe this summer 🌍

We’re kicking off with our Scorplings who were ripping up the Emerald Isle last week at the Atlantic Youth Touch Cup. Medals across the board for our players and coaches - massive congratulations to all involved. It was a pleasure to watch the hard work you’ve put in pay off! 🥇🥈

Mixed NTS Round 3 🦂

It’s our last chance of the season to put on the green and grey and show the rest of the country what we’re all about. The 1s are looking like a dangerous bunch and will relish the opportunity to spoil some parties tomorrow. The 2s and 3s have assembled their scrappiest fighters as they look to assert themselves in their respective divisions ahead of next year. Watch this space - scalps incoming 💪

Mixed NTS Round 2 🦂

It might be The 1975 headlining the Pyramid Stage tonight but it’s definitely Scorps who are top billing at NTS tomorrow in Oxford 🤘

Another three squads are ready to take to the stage and perform for the masses. While we know they play an incredibly attractive brand of touch, please do refrain from throwing your underwear at them whilst they’re ripping up 🥵

Not sure if you’ve heard, but last weekend’s antics leaves Scorps as reigning champions in all three NTS categories - sitting at the top of the pile in Mixed, Men’s and Women’s 👑

Alas, heavy is the head that wears the crown and Scorps won’t be resting on their laurels this weekend. They’re up for scrap and one thing’s for sure - if you come for the champs, you better not miss 👀

We are so back. Five squads of illustrious Scorps are competing in Burton tomorrow. All looking to test themselves against the rest of the nation and set themselves up nicely to take the crown(s) in the second round 👑

2025 Nationals 🦈🐍🐯🗡️

Once again a massive group of Scorps will be heading to Nottingham this weekend to compete at Nationals. A truly mind boggling 67 Scorps will be there, with 49 competing in the South East Opens squads alone. A testament to the quality the club continues to produce 🦂
