Drinking your calories in a deficit is a mugs game.
Youâre âeating cleanââŚ
But youâre having:
âď¸ 450 cal caramel frappuccino
𼤠2 full-sugar Cokes (280 cals)
đ§ âHealthyâ smoothie (300+ cals)
đĽ Large flavoured latte (300 cals)
Thatâs 800â1,000 caloriesâŚ
And youâre still hungry.
Liquid calories donât fill you up.
They digest fast.
They donât hit the same satiety signals.
So your deficit disappears without you realising.
Now listenâŚ
You can still enjoy life.
You can still go out.
But if fat loss is the goal:
âĄď¸ Swap to zero sugar fizzy drinks
âĄď¸ Go Americano + splash of milk
âĄď¸ Eat your calories instead of drinking them
âĄď¸ Track liquids for 7 days and watch your mind get blown
Zero Coke = 1 cal.
Full sugar = 140 a can.
Same(ish) vibe. Different result.
You donât lack discipline.
Youâre just leaking calories.

âNothing worked for me beforeâŚâ
Thatâs exactly what Muriel said 4 weeks ago.
Sheâd been stuck in the cycle a lot of people know too well:
Yo-yo dieting.
Starting strong â falling off â starting again.
Trying random plans with no structure and wondering why nothing stuck.
Fast forward just FOUR weeks:
â 2.4kg down
â Training consistently 3x per week
â Eating high-protein meals she actually enjoys
â Still socialising, still living life
â No obsessive calorie tracking
The biggest change though?
Her mindset.
Because now she KNOWS it works.
When you finally have structure, clear foundations, and a plan built around your real life â not some unrealistic fitness fantasy â results stop feeling random. They become predictable.
And that confidence? Thatâs what keeps momentum going month after month.
Massive well done Muriel â proud of you.
If youâve been stuck in the same cycle she was in and want proper structure, guidance, and results that actually last:
Drop me a message or reach out if youâve got questions.
Happy to help.

Keep an eye on your messages, Iâve got youđđ˝
It wouldâve been easier to skip the gym and stay at home today.
I was tired.
Low energy.
Stressed.
And I know a lot of you can relate.
I think Iâm busy. I think Iâm stressed.
But most of my clients have kids. I donât.
So what excuse do I really have?
No one wouldâve known if I didnât go.
Apart from me.
I wouldâve had to live with that quiet voice againâŚ
The one that says,
âItâs fine.â
âYou donât have time.â
âYouâre too tired.â
âStart tomorrow.â
And the scary thing is â itâs easy to believe it.
Itâs easy to create excuses.
Itâs easy to justify them.
But deep down, we know when weâre lying to ourselves.
I know where that road leads because I used to live there.
You start building this false image of yourself.
You say youâre disciplined.
You say you want change.
You say youâre serious.
But your actions donât match it.
And when you pretend to be something you know youâre not deep downâŚ
that tension builds.
That frustration builds.
Until one day the pain of staying the same gets bigger than the pain of changing.
And thatâs usually when people finally move.
Today, I didnât let it build.
I didnât let my mind win.
Being in shape is hard.
Being out of shape is hard.
You just have to choose your hard.
Because if you donât sacrifice for what you want,
what you want becomes the sacrifice.
So if you havenât trained today â just move.
Even if itâs not perfect.
Even if itâs 20 minutes.
Go tomorrow.
This is your sign.
Take it.

APPRECIATION POST â¤ď¸
This one means a lot. And calling her a âclientâ honestly feels weird. Lucyâs more like family. Like a sister⌠an annoying one𤣠Or an itch Iâve had for years I just canât seem to get rid ofđ but someone whoâs been there through different seasons of life, ups, downs, wins, setbacks â all of it.
Watching Lucyâs transformation from the start has been incredible. Over 6 stone down, which is amazing in itself, but what inspires me most is the person sheâs become along the way. Stronger mentally, physically, emotionally. That confidence didnât just appear⌠she built it. Iâd show you more of her before pics burn know she will kick offđ
And hereâs the realityâŚ
Working mum of three. Two jobs. Life stress. Health battles. Crohnâs disease. Back injuries. A dehydrated disc that left her in crippling pain and even hospitalised at times. Periods where she wanted to train but physically couldnât.
Meanwhile, I hear people daily say they âdonât have timeâ when theyâve got half the responsibility Lucy has handled for years.
Truth is: itâs rarely about having time.
Itâs about priorities.
Nobody magically finds time, you make it when something matters enough.
Lucy kept showing up when it was hard. When it hurt. When life threw curveballs. And that resilience is exactly why her transformation is second to none.
Proper proud of you, always.
Grateful for you, always.
Happy Birthday G đ
You inspire us all & we love you kiddađ

If you want to lose fat, build muscle and feel confident without fitness taking over your life â this is for you.
Some people might cancel me for this⌠but honestly, I donât care â because some of you need to hear it.
A client told me she felt embarrassed getting her steps in at work because people were laughing, making comments, whispering while she paced the staff room trying to better herself. And it genuinely annoyed me.
Truth is? A lot of people want to see you do well⌠just not better than them.
Not fitter than them.
Not more disciplined than them.
Not more confident than them.
And instead of stepping up themselves, they form little groups, talk rubbish, and try to drag you back into their comfort zone â because your growth highlights what theyâre avoiding.
But hereâs the reality:
There is NOTHING embarrassing about wanting better for yourself.
Walking more. Training. Eating better. Building confidence.
Thatâs self-respect, not vanity.
Funny thing is â inside a gym people hype each other up. Outside? People judge. And that says way more about them than it does about you.
We can all win. Thereâs space for everyone.
So if youâre trying to improve your health, your body, your mindset â keep going. Donât shrink to make insecure people comfortable.
Proud of anyone putting the work in. Always.
If you needed this today⌠keep showing up. đŞđ˝
This week I set myself a simple 5-day challenge.
Nothing extreme. Nothing flashy.
The goal wasnât a crazy transformation.
It was to break old habits, challenge my own belief system, and move forward instead of staying stuck.
And honestly⌠it wasnât even that hard.
Which made me realise something important.
We often set massive end goals, then feel overwhelmed, lose motivation, and tell ourselves weâve failed.
But momentum isnât built from huge goals â itâs built from small, achievable wins.
You prove to yourself you can show up.
Then you do it again.
And again.
Thatâs how confidence is built.
Thatâs how motivation grows.
Thatâs how habits change.
If youâre feeling stuck right now, donât aim bigger â aim simpler.
One small challenge. One short window. One promise you can actually keep.
Momentum comes after action. Not before.
I thought the answer was more training.
More sessions.
More sweat.
More âgrindâ.
When I first started my fitness journey, I genuinely believed that if I just trained harder and more often⌠the results would come.
They didnât.
I was in the gym constantly, but outside the gym?
â Poor sleep
â Low protein
â Barely drinking water
â Hardly moving outside of workouts
â Constantly feeling tired, sore, and frustrated
And I couldnât understand why my body wasnât changing.
What I didnât realise back then is this âŹď¸
Training is the stimulus. Recovery is where the results actually happen.
It wasnât until I stopped obsessing over doing more and started focusing on the basics outside the gym that everything changed.
Hereâs what actually broke my plateaus:
⢠Prioritising 7â8 hours of sleep
⢠Eating enough protein to recover and build muscle
⢠Drinking enough water daily
⢠Getting my steps in instead of sitting all day
⢠Training with intent, not just intensity
Once I nailed those?
My body started responding.
My energy improved.
My physique changed.
And progress finally felt sustainable.
If youâre training hard but not seeing results, donât automatically add more workouts.
Ask yourself:
đ Howâs your sleep?
đ Are you fuelling your body properly?
đ Are you recovering between sessions?
Most people donât need more gym time.
They need a better system outside the gym.
And thatâs the difference between spinning your wheelsâŚ
and actually getting results that last.
The reason most diets fail isnât lack of discipline â itâs lack of realism.
People go all-in.
They cut out their favourite foods.
They stop socialising.
They avoid takeaways, drinks, meals out.
And for a few weeks⌠it works.
Then life happens.
Motivation drops.
The diet feels restrictive.
And everything gets thrown out the window.
Hereâs the truth most people miss:
đ The best diet is the one you can actually stick to.
If your plan doesnât include foods you enjoy, it wonât last.
If it doesnât fit around your social life, it wonât last.
If it feels like punishment, it wonât last.
Sustainable results come from:
⢠Flexibility, not extremes
⢠Consistency, not perfection
⢠Habits you can repeat week after week
You donât need to quit carbs.
You donât need to stop eating out.
You donât need to live on chicken and broccoli.
You need a structure that allows:
⢠Your favourite foods in moderation
⢠A social life without guilt
⢠Progress without burnout
Thatâs how fat loss actually sticks.
