Unfortunately we couldn’t get enough U7 or U9’s BUT we are delighted to be starting off with the U8’s and 8 teams looks fantastic

Our Heatons U8 Girls took a trip down to Trafford 5s this morning in the MYSL Lionesses cup 🏆

For some of the girls it was their very first taste of playing in matches, and as a team their very first tournament

The girls blew everyone away with some outstanding performances against different girls teams from around Manchester - showing great determination and hard work along the way

Hard work really does pay off and the girls battled through the knock-out stages, winning the quarters, semis and landed a place in the final!

It was a thrilling end to end final with Heatons narrowly losing 2-1 to MYSL champions Middleton girls

It’s safe to say the girls had a great day and a fantastic experience!
What an achievement to get to a final in their very first tournament, this is only the beginning for this talented group of girls 🤩

Well done to our fantastic under 6s who finished a series of matches with games against Spurley Hey JFC.

The team have learnt so much the last couple of months and have done so with big smiles on their faces 😁

We are really excited as we move into our summer phase with training moving outdoors after Easter.

𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝 - 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙩 ✅

It was a successful night for our u8 girls who took on their first ever match against another local side

The girls were full of excitement and a few nerves but that quickly changed once the match got underway. They worked tirelessly throughout the game, linking up well with each other and scoring 2 goals!

It was great to see how much each player has progressed since their first session at the Heatons and how well they worked with each other as a team!

Keep up the fantastic work girls 🇸🇪⚽️
