DEJA VU! IT'S CUP FINAL NIGHT AGAIN!
Another cup final awaits the Spartans in New Mills, as the Division 3 Cup Final takes place this evening at Church Lane, home of New Mills F.C.
90 minutes of your incredible support, alike the scenes we saw last week against AFC Carnforth, could prove to be the difference in the Spartans' Second Team's endeavours of silverware this evening.
Lend the lads your support in tonight's 7pm kick-off at Church Lane, with the doors and clubhouse open from 5pm.

SECOND TO NONE! THE SECONDS ARE FINALISTS AGAIN!
The Spartans Second Team are through to the ECSFL League Cup Final 2026 following their spot-kicks win over high-flying Cheshire Sports Coaching of Division 1!
Two heroic saves from Dillon Frost in the shootout deny CSC from reducing the deficit from the spot; sending his team all the way through to their second cup final of the same season!
This is the second cup final that the Second Team have progressed to, having already secured a final tie in the Division 3 Cup.
Both finals are set to be played at Church Lane stadium, home of New Mills F.C. according to the below dates:
May 15 - Spartans v AFC Carnforth - ECSFL League Cup Final
KO 7pm
May 21 - Spartans v TBC - Division 3 Cup Final
KO TBC
More information regarding both fixtures will be published closer to the respective dates.
This is a massive feat for the Second Team. The tireless efforts of those wearing the colours on the pitch, or flying the flags from the touchline, are testament to the achievements of the team over the course of the season, and they are a credit to themselves and to the club.

Into the final!
The seconds have carried on their cup run and secured themselves a spot in the Division 3 cup final after beating Cheadle and Gatley on pens after a 2-2 draw!
Goals from Street and Ginge and a heroic penalty save from Frost were enough to see us into another penalty shootout!
After some tension the result on pens was 5-4 after another Frosty penalty save to send us into the final!
The firsts final in the clubs history!
The final will be played on Thursday 21st of May 7pm KO at new mills stadium! Thank you always to everyone that turns up for your fantastic support but now we ask for one final time in this cup of you could turn up and help send our lads over the finish line!
Giant Killers Again!
The seconds make it into the ECSL cup semi-final and continue their astounding cup run after defeating division 1 Mobberley Rangers on penalties 5-4
After a slow start to the game they found themselves down by 2 goals to nil after the first 20 minutes. Thankfully the second goal was what lifted the attitude of the team as they dug deep to find a response as a lovely move saw Street release Brad into the box who slotted home for our first goal. On the stroke of halftime Frosty pulled off an insane reactionary save from an effort 5 yards out which was just as good as a goal to keep us in the tie.
After the restart Dom cut inside to find Hoppy who finished tidily into the bottom right corner to earn our equaliser!
Take a look here at Frosty’s save and Ricks penalty to win us the shootout and send us into the semi-final!
The 1sts were in action tonight for the fist midweek game of the season in Didsbury.
Well and truly beaten 4-1 by a much more physical and determined Cheadle and Gatley side.
Squandered chances, silly mistakes and up against some crazy decisions but ultimately not good enough to get the result. We play them at home next Thursday.
Big thank you to the 30+ spectators that turned up on our side to watch us during a night game, hopefully we see you all again for the return fixture on Thursday next week!
