π Reddish North End Reds 2β3 Reddish Vulcans
It wasn't to be for the lads today, as we narrowly lost 3β2 against a strong Reddish Vulcans side. However, despite the result, there were some really positive moments throughout the game, with the lads creating chances and coming close on a number of shots. Sometimes the luck just isn't on your side! ππ₯
A big shout-out to Freddie, who stepped in between the sticks as our goalkeeper today! π§€πͺ He pulled off some great saves and did a brilliant job for the team. Thank you for stepping up, Freddie! π

β PLAYER OF THE MATCH β LOGAN β
Today's Player of the Match goes to Logan! π
Logan put in a strong performance, making some excellent tackles and producing an amazing assist for the team. It's also fantastic to see him continuing to build his confidence and learning to thrive, getting the very best out of himself both on and off the pitch.
Keep believing in yourself, Logan. You're making great progress, and we're proud of you! ππ₯
π WHAT WE NEED TO WORK ON
As always, there's plenty for us to take away from today's game and work on in training:
πΉ 1v1 drills β improving our ability to take on opponents, defend individually and make the right decisions in key moments.
πΉ Strength and physical battles β working on using our bodies and shoulders effectively to protect the ball and compete in challenges.
πΉ Tracking back β making sure we get back quickly to support our teammates when we're under pressure. Football isn't just about what we do going forward; it's about working together as a team in every situation! πͺ
π COACHES' SUMMARY
Today's opposition were no easy team to play against, but our lads gave them a really good game! Although we didn't come away with the result we wanted, there were plenty of positives to take from the performance.
As coaches, we're starting to see something developing within this group. We're seeing signs of a team that can grow stronger, compete with the opposition and give teams a proper game of football week in, week out. β½οΈπ₯
We've still got work to do, and today's game has highlighted a few areas we can focus on during training. But that's all part of the journey. We need to keep listening, keep working hard, build our confidence and continue putting what we learn in training into practice on matchdays.
The results will come if we keep improving together, supporting one another and putting the effort in every week. The potential is there, lads β now let's keep building on it! π
Heads up, chests out, and back to work! πͺ
πβ½οΈ UP THE NORTH END! β½οΈπ
