Big Test Sunday in the county cup against Newall Green Fc get down and support the boys UTV ⚔️

Stinker of a 1st half today cost us with a mixture of silly mistakes and bad luck cost us early on as we found ourselves 3-0 down early in the game
After that it was a tough task, dyno ran onto a great ball over the top to finish at the keepers near post but we found ourselves 4-1 down at HT.
2nd half we looked a different team as Stretford Vics struggle to get out of there own half
Keniel and dyno both brought down in the box for Matthew Jepson to Cooley slot both pens home and Dyno grabbed his 2nd but 2 long balls as we was pressing forward and Stretford were able to put the game to bed

Much better 2nd half but big response needed next week

County Cup action this week for the lads as we
Travelled to hough end to face Salford Athletic from the Chesman League.

A bit of a slow start from the lads as we struggled to finish our chances despite dominating the ball and creating quite a lot

The deadlock was finally broken after a nicely worked move down the left RyFlag found himself in space and whipped a ball in the box to find Joey Shingler who flicked ball past the keeper with the cheekiest of finishes. Our soon came shortly after through Niall Scott who continued his goal scoring form to put us 2 up at HT

The 2nd half started similar but it was Salford who found the net early there pacy forward line looked dangerous most of the game capitalised on our mistake to pull a goal back,

From then on it was all vikings RyFlag dangerous down the left all day skipped past a defender in the box and fired home the 3rd, Niall grabbed his brace and Dyno finished off the scoring with a cool finish to seal the win and put us in the hat for the next round 🙌🏻

Back. 2 back wins for the boys in a game we really struggled to break down a stubborn northenden team who in fairness tackled blocked headed shots everything in sight but we remained calm and came away with the W
Far from a quality performance the boys shown some character.
Keniel Henry always lively dribbled his way into the box only to be brought down, the ever reliable Matthew Jepson converted from the spot , Marcus purvis fresh off the bench made it 3 in 2 to secure the points

Midweek fixture vs Railway FC

Could possibly be the worst all round performance we’ve had as a team we were 2nd to everything railway were 3-0 up before we started playing, a late couple of goals from Joey Shingler and Kane Damien made it an interesting last few minutes but we were soundly beaten on the day

Not the ideal way to start the season very lacklustre from us going 1 nil down early we pressed for an equaliser, Dom Ali’s through ball to Keenan Bailey who broke the offside trap to slot home to level up at HT.
a much better start to the 2nd half and we were soon infront Paul Hayes clipped a ball over the top for Niall Scott who fired us infront, all Reddish from then on who equalised 30 seconds later and then snatched the winner the in the last minute to win the game.
