CLASS 1 STARTERS INTRO 2 * ( inc lead rein )
CLASS 2 - INTRO 3 *
CLASS 3- PRELIM 1 *
CLASS 4- OPEN PRELIM 3
CLASS 5 - NOVICE 2
CLASS 6 - pairs INTRO 3 *extra prize for best matchy matchy ( only 6 spaces )

*starters intro - those that are trying dressage for the first time & young horses or new partnerships , any tack permitted. Those coming 1st in this class must then step up to class 2 . Please note - This class is not part of the league .
*intro 2 relaxed tack rules class split junior & senior anyone getting over 70% previously at intro is encouraged to step up and try prelim
* CLASS 3 relaxed tack rules . this class will be spilt between junior & senior .
*PAIRS ( fun class not included in the league )

( open prelim and novice classes must be ridden in correct tack following BD rules )

All tests 20X40

Rosettes to 6th place - special prize for highest percent of the day. Goodie bags for 1st place .

Poor Sprout! I think this was her toughest ever "stay" challenge! 😂

At home and in class she can happily hold a stay for at least two minutes, but this time there was an added distraction... delicious horse poo. And, to make matters even worse, I was asking her to stay while I removed the delicious horse poo! 😋😋

It's a great example of why it's so important to practise training exercises in lots of different locations and around different distractions. Sprout knows what "stay" means, but staying put while there's horse poo nearby is a very different challenge to staying in the living room! Practising in different environments helps dogs learn to succeed even when life gets a bit more exciting.

And for anyone wondering, I only asked Sprout to stay for around 30 seconds at a time and made sure I had plenty of high-value treats ready to reward her. Admittedly, they weren't quite as high value as horse poo... but we can't have everything! 🙈😂
