Do you miss sessions if you don’t feel up for it that day?

Do you only make good choices with your food when you feel like it?

Do you feel you have to wait for some sort of inspiration to get up and go do the things that will make a difference to your life?

If you can relate to any of these it isn’t a problem with motivation you have, it’s a problem with discipline!

Motivation comes and goes, it doesn’t matter who you are, you can’t be 100% motivated 365 days a year.

If you’re relying on that feeling of motivation to make a change to your life, it will never last and you will always end up right back where you started.

The days where you feel amazing and can’t wait to exercise or nail your calorie goal aren’t the days that matter, it’s the days where you don’t want to do that stuff but do it anyway, they’re the ones that count!

So instead of looking for motivation, look to teach yourself to become more disciplined in your life, to go and do what is necessary for your goals even on the days where you feel you have nothing to give.

If you can change the mindset first, the physical changes you desire will follow!

If you want to have more sustainable and long lasting results for yourself but don’t know how to create that discipline in your life, message me with the word ‘MINDSET’ đŸ‘ˆđŸŒ

Do you find you aren’t recovering from workouts?

Are you still feeling sore from one session to the next?

Despite training are you seeing minimal progress in your lean muscle mass?

All these could be indicators that you aren’t getting enough protein!

Proteins are the ‘building blocks’ of your body, helping maintain and repair muscle tissue after you’ve exercised.

Without getting the required amount of protein you will see minimal muscle growth and find you start to plateauing in your workouts.

This is why I’ve given you a few simple things that could help you increase protein intake.

Getting a structure and planning what you are going to have each meal will give you the ability to make sure you can get some form of protein in for each of your meals, rather than getting something last minute that doesn’t have the required food groups.

I’d normally say getting a protein food source is always better than using a protein powder, however if you struggle eating as much or aren’t a fan of the typical protein sources (if you’re not a meat eater) then adding protein powder to your porridge or shakes is a good way to increase protein easily.

Hopefully this gives you an idea of how you can increase your protein if you’re someone who struggles with this.

If you’re wondering how much protein you should be having per day and want a bit of guidance just leave me a messageđŸ‘đŸŒ

Have you tried multiple diets but can’t seem to keep weight off?

Do you get some short term success but find it that you can’t maintain the diet as it is too restrictive?

Do you try and cut carbs as you think they are the enemy but end up feeling fatigued and binging out on sugary snacks to give you a boost?

Crash diets may bring you some minimal short term success, but I can promise you will end up feel drained and going back to old habits as they just aren’t maintainable!

Instead work on improving your knowledge of how calories work and aim to get yourself in a slight deficit (what is needed for weight loss) that can be altered as required.

This doesn’t require any crazy changes and you can continue eating the foods you enjoy, whilst still making progress.

This way you can make these small changes habit that will last long term and will let you make the progress you really wantđŸ’ȘđŸŒ

If this sounds like something you want to be able to do but aren’t sure how to start drop me a message.

A question for you to think about, how would it make you feel if on this day next year you had made no progress, no closer to your goals and still no idea how to get to them?

The issue is you’re viewing things from the wrong perspective, if you’re thinking of things as an expense or as a chore then that’s exactly what these things will be.

Instead what if you assess these things and choose to see them differently?

Rather than an expense you are investing in yourself.

Rather than a chore its an opportunity to get better and move towards the things you really want.

A chance to push your boundaries and move past them, achieving the best version of yourself you possibly can.

So if you’re sat there thinking about starting but are see things as a cost, a chore or its too much hard work...

Just think, what will it cost you if you stay there doing nothing?

Is it you waking up everyday wanting to see a change in your body but are unable to as you don’t know where to start?

Is it that you are in the prime years of your life and that each year you lose out on what could have been a better you?

Is it that you’ve gotten into a cycle of days feeling mundane and boring with it only going to continue and worsen if you don’t make a change?

If you think of taking the steps necessary to your goals as a sacrifice or a chore, its nothing compared to the sacrifice of the time that you one day won’t be able to get back.

You’ll never get to where you want until you start reviewing the way you perceive your time and instead of seeing things as a cost or a sacrifice, see them as an investment into you and your future.

So for you personally, what are the costs of you getting to this time next year without any change?

A thought that has probably gone through everyone’s heads at some point...

The mentality that there is always tomorrow and allowing procrastination to take over has been something I’ve definitely been guilty of in the past. The thing is if you’re waiting for that perfect moment to start and all the stars to align it won’t happen. Truth is there is never really a perfect time to start something, if you want there to be an excuse not to do something you’ll always find one.

If you can get to a place where you just say f**k it lets give it a go, the things you want to happen will start happening, it just takes that leap of faith and to be okay with the fact you may have to fail a few times before you get it right.

If you’re looking to get started on your fitness journey but just can’t get out of that ‘I’ll do it tomorrow’ thought process, give me a message and we can have a chat on how you can break that cycle.

Have you ever said something that sounds like this?

You seem to have tried every fad diet and weight loss shake known to man yet still aren’t able to make long lasting progress and end up back where you started.

Don’t get me wrong some of these methods will give you some short term success but aren’t made to be sustainable or enjoyable, causing you to revert back to your old habits after a few weeks and never giving you any of the tools you need to be able to go for a meal out or for a few drinks at the weekend (basically enjoy life) and still make progress.

If you want to improve your relationship with food and not feel guilty because you had a burger and a couple of drinks at your Auntie’s 60th birthday meal then find someone who can truly help you and ignore the bulls**t diets!đŸ‘ŒđŸŒ
