Deadlifts are back 👊

▪️250kg x1
▪️220kg x5
▪️200kg x5

First time pulling 230kg+ in ~6 months… and it felt solid.

Even more so considering I’m currently cutting and went into this session on ~600 calories.

A lot of people make the mistake of backing off when they’re in a deficit.

That’s exactly how you lose muscle.

If you want to keep your size while getting leaner:
✔️ Keep lifting heavy
✔️Keep intensity high
✔️Prioritise high protein

Your body keeps what it needs.

Give it a reason to hold onto muscle.

If you have taken this Ramadan off the gym, remember to ease yourself back into it. DO NOT rush into trying to lift pre Ramadan weight if you have taken the time off - build back up over the next few weeks ✍️

To all my friends, family and followers!

If you are going to continue training this month here’s a few tips around food and water consumption ⬆️

❌ Definitely don’t cut or bulk across this month, move up to your maintenece calories

Equally, if you find sticking to a training routine whilst fasting too difficult, take a few weeks off - you will not undo any previous hard work, a couple of weeks and you would be back to where you are now 💪🏼 .. Instead
use this time to build a healthy mind and healthy soul, spent time with your family, do whomesome things, and think about people who are less fortunate.

Most people train back like it’s cardio…

Swinging reps. Half range. No control.
Then they wonder why their physique never changes.

Here’s the truth:

The gym doesn’t reward effort.
It rewards ex*****on.

If you want a back that looks strong, not just “trained”, your reps need to have intent.

✅ Full stretch at the bottom
✅ Controlled pull (no momentum)
✅ Elbows driving back, not hands
✅ 1-second squeeze at the top
✅ Progression week to week

Because the goal isn’t to move weight…

The goal is to make the muscle suffer.

Train with tension.
Train with purpose.
Train like you’re building something.

Chest day.
10 days off… and somehow stronger. 💪🏼

This is your reminder that rest isn’t regression.
Recovery isn’t weakness.
Sometimes stepping away is exactly what your body needs to come back better.

And let’s be real — not everything was perfect today 👇🏼
✔️ Trained
✔️ Nutrition nailed
❌ Steps missed

And that’s okay.

Progress isn’t built on flawless days.
It’s built on showing up consistently, even when the box isn’t fully ticked.

Chasing perfection is how people burn out.
Consistency is how people transform.

New year. Same standard.
Strong body. Strong mind.
Back to work.
