Great first game from the newly formed Hazel grove u8 Sunday team. Putting 13 goals away. Brave and confident on the ball clinical finishing. And loads of work and aggression off it. Once this team builds on their understanding of eachother we are in for some great football this season. Also playing in different positions and filling that role and holding shape was really impressive and shows that there is some real football intelligence in these kids. Well done everyone and congratulations to Arthur on a well deserved man of the match performance. Some top finishing. Great vision and hard work off the ball. ⚽🖤❤️

BlueStar Stars vs Hazel Grove United u14 Girls

Good first game against a decent opponent that caused us some problems.
First half was a bit all over the place and we showed a lack of composure which comes from not playing for considerable amount of time.
Second half was Much better. Started playing some lovely football and scored some great goals.
It’s a new formation which will take some time to get used to but the girls are more than good enough to get to grips with it.

Tough early start after a few weeks off for the hazel grove u8 jets. However they got out of the blocks fast and put in an amazing performance and got a convincing victory against a team they have historically struggled against. 5 goals for the play of the match Louie who was vital at both ends of the pitch

Hazel Grove Comets U12 3-1 Shaw Athletic Barca, MYSL Ch’ship, Monsall 5.9.26

Comets took command of their first league game of the season with opening goals from Orson, Jacob and Alfie. Newcomers Noel and Rory bedded-in seamlessly, demonstrating what great additions they’ll be to the squad.
Goalkeeper Louis deserved a clean sheet with a commanding display but Barca’s second half consolation goal (in off bar and defender) blotted his copybook.
MOTM Rocco played in several positions throughout the game, excelling in all. He won all his duals and knitted defence with attack via positive passing combined with experienced game management.
