Being anxious about joining is normal.
Especially if you’ve not trained for years.�Or maybe you’ve never trained.
�Or you feel like you’ll be the biggest one there.
�Or the slowest.
�Or the one who doesn’t know what they’re doing.
I get why people build it up in their head.
You imagine walking in and everyone looking at you.
�You imagine not being able to do something.
�You imagine feeling embarrassed.
But here’s the mad bit.
We can normally flip that feeling really quickly.
Sometimes within minutes.
Because once you walk through the door and realise no one is judging you
�No one is laughing
�No one is expecting you to be fit already
�And we can change anything you can’t do…
You start to relax.
Then after the session, it’s a completely different person.
You came in anxious.
�You leave proud.
You came in overthinking everything.
�You leave thinking…
“Why did I build that up so much?”
And that’s why the first goal is never to smash the session.
The first goal is simple.
Walk through the door.
We’ll help with the rest.
