🏏 What a great first night back for Compstall Stars! 🙌

It was fantastic to see the pitch buzzing again. Kids playing, families enjoying the food and drink, and everyone soaking up the atmosphere 💚

Thanks to everyone who came down and made it such a fun start to the season. A huge thank you to our amazing group of volunteers, who make nights like this happen, we could not do it without you all.

We can’t wait to do it all again next week! ✨

Sorry some sad news - Pete Townley passed away this morning after being admitted to hospital last Saturday he was 77.
I am old enough to have played football with him, he wasn’t a cricketer - but If you do not know him, he is an ex member and the Dad of Rick Shaw former Compstall player. RIP Pete. 😢

🎟️ This is a ticketed event. We have a limited number of child tickets available on the gate, so please arrive early if you’re hoping to get one.

🚗 Parking is limited, so if you can, leave the car behind, enjoy the sunshine and have a drink with us 🍻 The 383 & 384 both stop nearby with a 3 minute walk to the club.

🥚 The Egg Hunt runs throughout the afternoon, so you can arrive when it suits you.

We will have 40 child tickets available on the gate, but just a heads up… these sold out within the first half hour last year 👀

If you’re planning to come, we’d recommend arriving early to avoid missing out!

Sunny, dry and crisp - perfect weather to wrap up warm and enjoy a brilliant afternoon at Compstall Cricket Club.

Tickets are now almost sold out, so if you’re planning to come please grab yours quickly to avoid missing out.

We will release 40 child tickets on the gate, but just a heads up - these sold out within half an hour last year.

Anyone arriving after those have gone is still very welcome to come along and enjoy the atmosphere, stalls, food and entertainment, but egg hunt prizes are only included with ticketed children.

We’re blown away by the support again this year, thank you so much for getting behind the event and supporting the club. It’s going to be such a special day! 💙
