Mistakes I’ve made as a PT so you don’t have to!
Might make a mini series of this if you’re lucky 😂
Over the years there’s been so many trends, new things online that people get sucked into and also new research on a lot of different things!
Anyways here we go:
1. Sugar won’t make you fat. One single thing won’t make you gain body fat, it doesn’t work like that, we all know what a calorie deficit is by now … you could eat high sugar foods, be in a deficit and lose fat BUT feel rubbish. If someone demonises food, run!
2. You can’t out train your diet. Whatever your goal is, over exercising isn’t the way forward, the way forward is finding what works for you, what works for goal and what’s sustainable. You don’t need to expend thousands of calories a day and eat a few hundred. You need to nail the basics here.
3. You don’t need to train every day to see results. You only need extreme training if your goal depends on that. You don’t need to be in the gym or running for hours on end. If you have 20 mins to exercise and that’s all you do then amazing, if you only managed to exercise 2 times this week, that’s getting you closer to where you want to be… you get the point.
Like I said, I might make more of these, especially if it helps people!
Comment if you’ve made any of the same ones or have any questions!

Your journey isn’t going to look like anyone else’s.
It’s yours.
You might find it harder, easier, not know what direction to go in, you might smash your habits on the head first time or it might take a good few months to get your head around things.
Whatever your goal is with your fitness journey just know, it’s got to be right for you, you have to be doing it for the right reasons and it really doesn’t matter if it looks different to your mates, what matters is that it works for you, it’s sustainable, realistic and suits your lifestyle!
Remember, the best plan is the one you can stay consistent with!
Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s, focus on building a healthy lifestyle for you!

You deserve better.
You deserve to live your life how you want to and feel your best doing it!
There’s one thing standing in the way.
Your commitment to yourself…
Sometimes it’s not about being in an all or nothing mindset, it’s about pushing yourself to be 1% better and get 1% closer each day to your goal without quitting.
Start showing up for yourself, your results will come, it doesn’t need to be PERFECT, it needs to be consistent. When you start to see results (in all the different ways they show) you’ll start to have that little bit of self belief and commit more. All this starts with doing something now to get you where you want to be.

If you’re new to your fitness journey, it can feel so overwhelming.
You go into the gym or step outside with your running shoes on… no plan, unsure what exercises to do. You smash out all the available cardio machines and leave feeling unaccomplished and unsure.
Here are a few tips on where to start this journey:
1. Find a gym buddy or hire a coach. This helps build confidence with someone by your side and keeps you accountable. If you hire a coach, the stress of planning sessions is taken away too.
2. Go to the gym with a plan.Know what workout you’re doing – full body, upper/lower etc. As long as you have a plan, you know where to go and what to do.
3. Learn the basics first.Technique before strength. Doing exercises incorrectly can lead to injury.
4. Remove the excuses.Get your gym outfit ready. If it’s out of sight, it can be out of mind! Pack your gym bag, leave it where you can see it, take it to work… whatever makes it easier to go.
5. Try different types of training.Do what feels right for you. There’s no one size fits all approach. It’s your journey.
Hope this helps! Any questions, fire away 💪🏽

As funny as this looks, I’ve actually been working with K for a while now on building the strength back in her knees. Yes, she looks slightly disappointed here 😬 but this is actually a huge step since her op and getting full function back.
We can now do sooo much more in training, and she’s worked seriously hard to get to this point.
This year’s goals are already being smashed 💪🏽
In the last few weeks she’s achieved:
✅Building bulletproof knee strength
✅Feeling more confident
✅Fat loss & measurements decreasing
✅Strength increasing across the board
Big start to 2026 for Keekz. Super proud 🙌🏽🔥

If you’re part of the LGBTQIA+ community and you’re being sold programs based purely on your gender or sexuality… it’s because someone wants that dolla bill 💸
I’m not against these online programs at all, I don’t know what’s in them. BUT what I can tell you is this: a workout labelled “perfect for trans”, “lesbian”, or any other part of the community is NOT automatically perfect for you.
If you know what you’re doing and can progress then great but if you’re just starting out or find it’s not what you thought then it’s probably not right for you.
The “perfect” workout doesn’t exist like that.
What actually makes a program work? 👇🏽✨ Designed around your lifestyle✨ Something you can progressively build on✨ Meets you where you’re at✨ Sustainable long-term✨ Tailored to your goals
When you invest in your health & fitness, make sure you’re choosing the right coach and the right program…
