“You have to get comfortable being uncomfortable”
Exercise is and always will be a mind game. I’ve been lean for years and always wanted to keep a hold of my condition. Staying lean is great but can also limit progress. So its time to commit to a gaining phase and make some serious progress to make sure next year we make this look average.

The way body image is so huge right now, it’s very important to remember to not compare yourself to others. Your only competition should be YOU! There are so many variables which make each and every one of us different. Genetics, body type, length of time previously training to name but a few. We all strive to look better and realistically no matter how good you look, your always going to want more. So just make sure you enjoy the journey.

Whatever you do just make sure you have fun doing it.
This applies to training too, a fun and not too restrictive training/diet plan will be a lot more sustainable and give much better results. Longevity is key in achieving your goals. Train smart.

Nothing good comes from staying in your comfort zone.
Within a month of moving my business to a new gym, I also got thrown into a photoshoot.

In order to progress in anything you do, you have to take risks and make changes. Tomorrow marks the day I move my business to a new facility having spent my first 14 years in the fitness industry at the same gym. No nerves, just excitement on making progress both myself and with all my clients. Let’s goooo

Why are you dieting? For me I love going on holiday feeling the best version of me. So yearly I’ll do a cut and a little tighten up before going away. After completing the diet I decided to see where that had got me. 6.5% body fat, very lean, not sustainable year round. But I’ll feel good whilst around that pool.

even with numerous lockdowns and being in and out of gyms paddy has grafted no matter the hurdles we had to face. Works hard week in week out and the results speak for them self. We’re still only part way through our journey but it’s good to look back and see how far you’ve come.
