What does their day at LSC actually look like?

👋 08:00 – Every day you'll be greeted by our friendly site leads. Children will participate in fun welcome activities, make new friends and settle in for a busy day.

🤾‍♀️ 09:45 – Splitting into smaller groups, children will take part in the first activity of the day, swapping to a new activity after an hour with a snack break in between.

🥪 12:00 – We all have lunch together and once children have finished their food are welcomed to participate in child-led play.

🖌 13:00 – Back in our groups, children will participate in two new activities.

🏆 15:15 – Daily Celebration! Star of the Day certificates are handed out to children who have shown exemplary sportsmanship, willingness to try something new and great creativity.

🎯16:00 – Nerf Wars time! A quick-fire round of foam dart battles, or a final bounce on inflatables on Thursday before finishing the day with more child-led activities.

The daily structure remains the same but we can guarantee that two days are never identical.

How does the Free School Meals expansion affect your HAF eligibility?

With Free School Meals (FSM) expanding to all children in households receiving Universal Credit, we want to share an update on HAF and whether your child is eligible for a funded place.

⚠️ Your child will only be eligible for a HAF place if your household meets the Targeted Free School Meal criteria, including the £7,400 household income threshold.

While many more children will become eligible for FSM, this does not automatically mean they are eligible for HAF programmes.
