We’re looking for girls aged 11-18 to join The Rubies!

It’s a girls only team where you can learn new skills, have fun and make friends.

No previous experience needed - just come along and give it a go!

Congratulations to Elliah and Elliott who were our U8 players of the week on Sunday.

They both had loads of fun and the sun was shining for our last full training session of the season 🏉👏

*U10s on Tour*

Our U10s had their debut tour this weekend, and what a spectacular time we had!

Pwllheli Rugby Club were amazing hosts on Saturday - arranging a four way fixture with Caernarfon and Bethesda rugby clubs joining us. The rugby was played in glorious sunshine, and in great spirit. It was incredible to see the rugby community coming together and making it such a special occasion for everyone.

We spent the rest of Saturday on the Warren beach, before heading back to our accomodation for evening of entertainment. Sunday was a morning of watersports in Abersoch, with pizzas on the beach.

Burnage U8s played their last game of the season away at Stockport 🏉. It was a great way to round of our matches with all the kids working hard🔥, supporting each 💪other and having loads of fun 😄 in the sun ☀️!

Our players of the week were Lewis and Rohan for fantastic commitment and energy levels 👏🏆!

On Sunday, we played against Bowden in the glorious winter sun.

The U8s players of the week were Theo and Alexander🏆! Both showing great commitment and teamwork, tagging like there was no tomorrow and scoring tries for fun😁! A big thank you to Bowdon for hosting us for a great morning’s rugby 🏉👏

The U8s welcomed the start of half term with a fun training session with loads of quick paced games to put them through their paces ⚡️🏉! Some great skills on display and we got the hearts pumping ❤️‍🔥💪.

Our players of the week were Jamie and Jack who were excellent throughout, full of energy and enthusiasm and were great teammates 🏆👏

The U8s had a welcome training session on Sunday morning, progressing their skills and having loads of fun 🏉😁!

Our players of the week were Imogen and Jude 🏆, who have been putting into practice everything the coaches have been telling them and being super supportive and encouraging of their team mates 👏!

Next week we are back in action with a home local derby match against Heaton Moor 💪

Burnage U8s had a superb morning at Stockport on Sunday 🏉! Over 50 kids gave it their all across both teams, with Burnage playing some fabulous rugby 💪!

Most pleasing to the coaches was how supportive the players are to their teammates, always looking to involve each other and ensure everyone gets time on the ball 🖤💛.

Our players of the week were Luca and Evie - both a credit to the club in their attitude and behaviour and putting all their learnings from the coaches into action on the pitch! Well done both! 👏👏

The u9s had a brilliant morning hosting Knutsford on Sunday who were worthy adversaries for an ever-improving side in their first year of contact rugby.

Big tackles, powerful runs, plenty of determination and possibly one of the longest running end of game tunnels in the history of the sport wrapped up an excellent morning’s rugby at Varley Park!
