Today we say goodbye to a fantastic coach, mentor and friend.

Pete, thank you for everything you’ve done for the club and for everyone you’ve coached over the years. Since I joined the club, you’ve always been there with advice, support and plenty of laughs, and it’s been a pleasure working alongside you.

What a fantastic afternoon celebrating Wimbledon with our Heaton Mersey Tennis Club members! Thank you to everyone who came along, embraced the Wimbledon whites theme, and helped create such a fun, friendly atmosphere. The sunshine, brilliant tennis, and great company made it a day to remember.

A very special thank you to my mum and dad for everything they did behind the scenes. From organising all the food and prizes to taking care of every little finishing touch, they put so much time and effort into making the day such a success.

Finally, thank you to every member who came along, got involved, and made the event so enjoyable. Days like this are what make Heaton Mersey Tennis Club such a special place, and I can’t wait to do it all again next year.
