Christmas snakes and ladders tonight!!

Well done to Harry, Oliver and Dom from the 7.30pm squad for winning!!

Winners from the 8.30pm squad were Tom, Jack, Libby, Freya and Emma

Personally, highlight of the night was from lane 5 at 8.30pm (Sammy, Gabby, Millie and Abi) who got hit 400m frontcrawl 4 times as well as 200m fly 🥵🥵🥵🤣🤣 ouch

Waiting List Information

We take new swimmers off the waiting list in order of when they joined the list, according to which classes have places.

When you complete the Waiting List form, if your swimmer has had previous lessons please tell us which badge was the last one that they achieved.

Due to current restrictions our class sizes are smaller and we have been taking fewer swimmers off the waiting list than we would normally.

We frequently review any spaces and match these to those on the waiting list. Please be patient and expect to wait for a place to become available.
If/when we do have a place you will be sent as email.

We have spaces at 9pm on Fridays in our lane swimming lessons. We are looking for swimmers who are comfortable swimming 25 metres and are on Stage 8-10 of swimming lessons or working towards Badge 4 with Life Leisure.

Please read - Urgent update

Dear Parents and Swimmers

As stated in our email earlier today, we have been closely monitoring Swim England’s guidance regarding both training and galas. This afternoon we decided to cancel all future galas until it is deemed safe.

This evening, Swim England have advised that it is in the best interest of club members for training to be canceled.
We of course agree with this meaning that there will be no training for us until further notice.

We will continue to monitor the guidance and will keep you informed as and when new information arises.

Swim England statement regarding coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Monday 16 March a range of measures to help combat the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Hi everyone a gala for the diary which is already out.

The satellites last chance qualifier to be held on 21st/22nd Dec at Macc, this is an external gala which can be entered without going through SCM.

Your last chance to get county qualifying times for the 2020 championships.

This meet has 3 days left for the early bird price, please enter ASAP. At the moment the price per race is £5.00, after the 8th Sept the price goes up to £6.00 per race, late entries will be from the 9th Dec priced at £12.00 per race.

Another history making weekend for the swimming club with swimmers taking part in many galas all over the country

we had 3 swimmers gaining valuable competitive racing experience at the Sputniks development gala in Macclesfield. This was the fourth and final round of this mini series which started in Feb. The valuable experience gained will be the basis of their racing whilst swimming competitively.

We also had our men's captain Charlie Hughes taking part in the 3 day Glasgow international meet which was a level 1 meet where swimmers from all around the world took part. in the words of Charlie, the Denmark girls are unreal!!

we also had the final day of the northwest regionals where Davey Unwin managed to medal again, gaining silver in the 50m back. Davey qualified in 6 races, finalled in 5 races with taking 1 Gold and 2 Silvers. Along with Rihanna Turner, they have both made history with being the first swimmers to represent Romiley at the northwest regionals!!

Please note there is no competitive training tonight Tuesday 30th April due to a home gala. Junior warm up 7.30pm
Seniors 8pm.

Mobile phones are not to be used poolside by the swimmers while they are waiting for races.
