Hi Judoka
I am pleased to say that judo sessions will again restart on Saturday 24th April. As previously please arrive no earlier than 12.55 to avoid waiting in the centre and arrive in your judogi to avoid using changing rooms. We will again use the centres one way system entering via the normal entrance and exit via the gym side door. Please make use of the centres hand sanitising station at the entrance. Face masks are required for non participants. Sessions will be slightly shorter due to mat cleaning requirements. We will continue to follow the BJA phased return quidelines. All Judoka will still be required to complete an Athlete Indemnity form before the sessions
This can be downloaded from the BJA website and filled in on the day at the session (copies will be available)
See you back on the mat!
Regards
George
Hi Judoka, due to the latest lockdown and closure of sport centres, the new term of sessions will now be suspended until restrictions are lifted. Watch the BJA website for podcasts and judo articles! Until we are back, stay safe, stay fit and stay positive.
Happy New Year Judoka.
Hi Judoka, we are back on the mat on Saturday 5th December. The same COVID restrictions and procedures will be in place. Hope to see you on the 5th
George
Hi Judoka, unfortunately sessions are again suspended as the Sports Centre is closing on Thursday due to the latest government lockdown rules. I will let you know when we can return to the mat, hopefully in December or otherwise next year. Keep fit and well. 🥋
Hi Judoka, The Hazel Grove sports centre now has COVID 19 QR posters for track and trace. Please download the NHS COVID 19 app so you can scan the poster on arrival. See you Saturday

I am pleased to say that judo sessions will restart on Saturday 12 th September. Please arrive no earlier than 12.55 to avoid waiting in the centre and arrive in your judogi to avoid using changing rooms. The centre has a one way system so enter via the normal entrance and exit via the gym side door. A hand sanitising station will be in the entrance to the gym. All Judoka will be required to complete an Athlete Indemnity form before the sessions
This can be downloaded from the BJA website and emailed to me ([email protected]) or filled in on the day at the session (copies will be available)
Stay safe and see you on the mat!

Hi Judoka, I hope you are all fighting fit. I just wanted to let you know that I am hoping to restart the club in September ( dates to be confirmed) as the centre only opens on the first. We will be following the British Judo Associations phased return programme which you can download from their website. We will be either at phase one or possibly phase two in September. I will update you nearer the time with exact dates and procedures.
Until then stay safe
Best wishes
George
