Our last year Manchester cup champion Dylan Gibbons 1st fight this year unfortunately we lost on points but it’s good learning fight I thought

🥊 Attend every session and try to be the hardest worker in the room listen and learn

🥊 This is not white-collar! England amateur boxing goes from beginner to Olympic-level boxing and the standard even in 11/12-year-olds is very high. You can’t box under the age of 10 , if you already have that is not an England Boxing Club.

🥊 When your coaches thinks you're ready you will get “carded” This takes time, so don’t think you will be boxing after 6 weeks of training

🥊 To get the coach's attention you must earn it, there will be boxers in the gym who have spent months even years before you, be patient

🥊 Leave your ego at the door or you are likely to be humbled pretty quickly.

🥊 Respect everyone whether it’s coaches’ officials or the lady who takes the subs this is a volunteer sport, and everyone deserves to be treated properly.

🥊 With dedication and the right club amateur boxing can change your life.
