Yesterday at one of our events we experienced behaviour from a very small number of participants that we won't tolerate.

Aggressive language, littering, and barging past park users and fellow participants puts our events at risk and creates an environment that isn't enjoyable for anyone - and it's simply not acceptable.

Phoenix Events are held to high standards across the country and we are proud of that.

The vast majority of you are absolutely brilliant, and we are so grateful for that. But, we need everyone to be on the same page.

Park users always have priority.
Be respectful.
Bin your litter at the aid station.

These behaviours will get you disqualified from the event and banned from future events and the race director's decision is final.

If you see something, speak to a marshal or race director.

📢 A few things to know before Saturday!

👟 Conditions are super dry right now, so we'd recommend road shoes or light trails - unless the weather changes drastically. We are expecting a few showers over the next 24 hours, so keep an eye on the forecast!

➡️ The course is marked and we'll have marshals out for the first couple of hours. The running route GPS has been emailed to you — please download it just to be safe.

🚗 We're sharing the space with another event this weekend, so please stay aware of any vehicles moving around the park.

🏃 The narrow river section (pictured below) requires runners to stay single file for safety, and please be mindful of other park users throughout.

You're representing Phoenix - so as always, your best trail etiquette is very much appreciated. And knowing our runners, we have no doubt you'll have a brilliant run! 😊❤️
