We love bringing something a little different to our events, and this one's extra special!

We're delighted to welcome Phoenix legend Yvonne to Manchester, bringing along her gorgeous handmade fuzzy bees!

Every runner will take home a bee alongside their medal, completely free of charge - we're covering the cost of the bees, with a donation going to Rays of Sunshine, a fantastic charity that Yvonne has proudly supported for many years.

Tony Stevenson will be running his 650th marathon - yes, you read it right - 650th marathon with us at Freddie Purrucry Run on 5th Sept!

A huge congratulations to Tony on this incredible milestone!

Wings of Remembrance 2026

Join us at Alexandra Park, Oldham for the much-requested Lancaster Bomber medal event - a fitting tribute, given that the Lancaster Bomber was designed and built right here in Chadderton, Oldham.

We'll pause for a 2-minute silence at 11am to mark the occasion.

🍛 A Phoenix Manchester Classic: (Takeaway) Biryani Run! 🍛

Back by popular demand! Last year's runners raved about our legendary takeaway biryani, so it's making a comeback - and this time we've got extra reason to celebrate.

🎉 It's RD Priya's Birthday! We're marking the occasion with her favourite food - Biryani - and of course, there'll be cake too!

At Phoenix Manchester, we want race day to feel welcoming and fun - and that means capturing all of it. The smiles, the laughs, the mid-hill grimaces, all of it. That’s what running is really about for so many of us.

🎗️ Breast Cancer Awareness Month x Biryani Run 🎗️

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so join us on 11th October at the Biryani Run where we will be wearing pink to help raise awareness.

We're requesting all runners to wear PINK on the day to help raise awareness and support Rahul, who has been a star fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness.
