Cheadle Heath Community Centre is located in Cheadle Heath Park, Essex Avenue (off Stockport Road) Cheadle Heath, SK3 OJA. The park was opened in 1936 and the Community Centre (or the Pavilion as it is known locally) has provided a meeting place, a social hub, a venue for parties, events and activities for many years, and is still doing so.

We would like to take a moment to say THANK YOU to Sandra, who has volunteered with us for such a long time!

Sandra was originally invited to help out Rose Walker herself, just for a week. This has famously turned into nearly 40 years of volunteering, with centre activities, the Four Seasons group, and Friendly Fridays . Many of you will know Sandra as the "keeper of the keys", opening and closing the centre for parties.

Sandra is now stepping diwn into a well earned retirement, although will still be a regular at Friendly Fridays!

We wish her all the very best and send her all our good wishes for a long and happy retirement.

Do you know about our weekly community project Friendly Fridays?

Open 10 am - 2 pm to all ages (vulnerable children and adults, need to be accompanied by a suitable supervising adult) for FREE!

This week they open their self-serve soup station as well. Chicken or Tomato (Heinz).

Lots of activities to get involved in, or you can just sit back, have a brew (or mug of soup) and enjoy a natter.

Great to see this much loved community project has been selected as a Co-op cause.

We are delighted to announce that Friendly Fridays is part of the Co-op Local Community Fund.

Download the Co-op App, become a member and choose our cause, so we can receive a share of £5m. https://coopapp.onelink.me/ftOk/6fuqk14w
