Hi everyone! As some of you know already, I set myself a challenge of reducing my intake of sugar for 10 weeks. The rules were I could only eat food that contained 5g of sugar or less per 100g, alongside this I trained consistently 4-5 session per week. Now the 10 weeks are up I want to let you all know what I've achieved. I have lost 4.3 inches from my waist, from 35 inches to 30.7 inches and I dropped exactly 1 stone, from 13.1.5 st to 12.1.5st.

My reasons for doing this challenge was because the last time I was lean was back when I was around 17 and playing tennis 3-5 hours a day. Now I'm 25 and I lost my athletic look, as well my performance, I wanted to change. I'm please with the progress I have made over the 10 week, so now with the nutritional guidance from Kate and a consistent workout schedule I'm going to carry on with this healthy habit and make it a lifestyle change. Next before and after picture I aim to have abs!

Workout part 1: 5 rounds as fast as you can.
I performed all these exercises with a 20kg vest.
Seated box jumps with 20kg kettle bell - 5 reps
Knee jumps - 5 reps
Shuttle runs - 8 lengths
Absolute killer on the glutes!

Don't give in to those sugary snacks because you're too hungry when you're food shopping. Go with a full stomach and you won't get the cravings!

Weighted sprinter skip: 8 reps each leg.
Shuttle runs: 10 reps
Perform the circuit 3 times as fast as possible.

KB swing: 20 reps

Pause rep dips with weighted vest: 5 reps
Slam ball throw overs: 8 reps
Slam ball shoulder throws: 10 reps

Workout Part 1:
Bench pause press: 6 reps. Adding the resistance bands helps to increase the pushing power.
Shoulder pause press: 4 reps
inverted row (5 second negative): 8 reps
Do this circuit for 3 times as fast as possible

Quick and simple breakfast! Avocado toast with poached egg. 574 calories: 30g protein 37g carbs 30g fat and only 4g SUGAR. Great alternative to the sugary cereals you may be eating!

Tuesday Tip! If you love peanut butter, be sure to look at the ingredients for the sugar content, some butters have a lot of added sugar to make them sweeter which could add up to the rest of your diet. Next time you buy peanut butter, go for the one that's 100% peanuts!
