After an AMAZING summer, Active Future is heading back to Prudhoe & Hexham this October and this time, things are getting a Halloween makeover!

Five days of Multi-Activity Camp fun with a spooky twist…

Zombie XSHOT battles • Ghost Tag • Apple Bobbing • Pumpkin Push • Halloween arts & crafts • Multi-Sports • Games • Challenges & LOTS more

And then there’s Fancy Dress Friday!

Fancy dress is completely optional, but for those who want to join in, we’ll have a prize for our favourite costume, Halloween fun and games, and a buffet-style party lunch to finish the week.

Our Thursday evening Free Play Football sessions at Prudhoe High School will no longer be running, including tonight’s session.

📧 Emails were sent out this afternoon to all current Free Play customers, but we’re sharing here too to make sure nobody misses the update.

Tonight at Ovingham Middle the players were out of this world.

As we started our moves to beat players topic - they were on fire 🔥

Our POS of session were:

Theo for using the Elastic at every opportunity and helping demonstrate.

Jayden for being so creative and having his opponents on toast

Max for one if the most skillful displays we’ve seen in ages culminating in a Bergcamp style wonder goal.

Genuinely fantastic effort by everyone tonight.

🏃‍♂️ GOOD LUCK BEN! 🏃‍♂️

This Sunday, one of our brilliant Active Future West Northumberland coaches, Ben, will be taking on the AJ Bell Great North Run and we wanted to give him a little shout-out and wish him the very best of luck!

Ben was diagnosed with autism 10 years ago and is running in support of the National Autistic Society, a charity that is understandably very close to his heart.

At Active Future, a huge part of what we believe in is that movement and activity should be for everyone. We want children and young people to feel included, supported and able to take part regardless of ability, additional needs or the barriers they may face.

That makes us especially proud to have Ben as part of our coaching team and very proud to support him as he takes on this challenge.

There is absolutely no pressure to donate, but if any of our lovely families or followers would like to sponsor Ben, even a small amount would mean a lot. Equally, taking a few minutes to learn more about autism and the work of the National Autistic Society is a wonderful way to show support too.
