A huge thank you today to everyone that attended Marni’s family fun day.

A truly inspiring day filled with love and community spirit.

Seeing so many people coming together and rallying around each other to make today possible just shows what a beautiful place we live in. Showing your love and support to Steph, Zac and all of Marni’s family was there for all to see.

From the Phatlads Competitions Ginger Gino, Arfan, Bradley Marren, Matty Lee and everyone involved in making today happen you really are a credit to our people.

The Show cars were awesome, The stalls, food huts and bouncy castle made for a lovely family day and not forgetting the Sun.

The awesome Troop girls, just wow you girls were fantastic, mesmerising and well done to you all. The fitting tribute to Marni.

Oh and the tug of war, it didn’t half make us all laugh and the effort and tenacity put in by both team.

The Sun shone down over us all today lighting making it perfect family day for all.

The lads that played in the Charity Game, you guys were brilliant. How you played in that heat I’ll never know.

A fantastic game that see the end of 90 mins at 4-4 running in to a penalty shoot out.

It was only fitting that Marni’s 11 cam out winner against Tunstall Town in the penalty shoot out.

Seeing so many of our old players playing was today was fantastic and see a few of our old managers with Marni’s 11 managed by Gary Ellerton.

Thank you to all the cars that donated £2 on the car park today that raised over £400 towards Marni’s fund.

To Steph and Zac and family, you guys are inspiring and have all our love from everyone at Kidsgrove Athletic and as you’ve seen today from all of our incredible community.

Tomorrow, we are delighted to host Marni’s Family Fun day and Charity Football match at our development centre, Packmoor.

It’s incredibly humbling to see so many people stepping forward to donate raffle prizes, auction items, vouchers, services, food, entertainment, time, support and more which will make for a fantastic family fund day for all.

Bring your deck chairs, picnic blankets and enjoy the day in Marni’s honour.
