Abbey Hulton United Under 15's

Bit of a late update. Sundays game finished with a 2-0 home defeat to Kidsgrove blues. Very competitive game with the oppositions manager saying at the end it could've gone either way, but unfortunately it didn't go ours.

Onto the next one this Sunday.

UTA

The under 15s played away at alsager today and what a game it was.
The game started with Max, our keeper, making a top draw save early on but unfortunately we conceded from a corner not long after.
We managed to draw level with a brilliant goal from Reshawn which was well deserved but with the last kick of the half alsager went 2-1 up with a wonder goal.
At the start of the 2nd half Taylor, our left back, set the tone with a brilliant sliding challenge and from then on we battled hard.
Josh up front then managed to get us a goal to bring it to 2-2. Knowing we needed the win the formation was changed to 3-5-2 and we went at them and josh scored after caleb played a brilliant pass and nutmegged the keeper to make it 3-2 which we saw out to the end.
What a game.
Really proud of all the lads and another 3 points on the board.

After a long break from league games we unfortunately lost 1-0 to Endon, one of the top teams in the league. If we are honest we thought a draw would've been a fair result.
On to the next one after Xmas.

3-1 loss today for the under 15's. We never really got going until the last 20 minutes and we were denied a stone wall penalty. Our keeper made some fantastic saves including a penalty but we just didn't do enough. Wilf opened his account today by scoring our only goal from miles out.
On to the next one.

First round of the county cup today for the lads and we've come way with a 5-3 win against Kidsgrove.
Great result for the lads with Kaleb, Zach and Theo all scoring their first goals for the team and Josh getting another 2.
Onto the next round.
UTA

0-0 versus cheadle under 15's. What can we say about that game.
Very scrappy game first half where we had the better chances and should've been 1 up.
Second half we score only for the linesman to speak to the ref and say it was a hand ball. Referee didn't see it but we did and no hand ball happened which is a kick in the teeth for the lads. 2 fantastic saves from our keeper made sure came away with a point.
All of us feel like we've been robbed but at least we look good in our away strips supplied and sponsored by Huber+Suhner Phoenix Dynamics

Fantastic performance today from all the team. We've had 6 new players join us this season and the way that they have integrated with the existing lads is absolutely phenomenal.
Our first league game at our new ground against an established 2nd division side and we came away with a 4-2 win with Reshawn Banda and Addison Hughes both getting a goal and Joshua Ukatu getting a brace.

UTA 🟠⚫️

First game of the season tomorrow and first league game at our new home against AFC Alsager Rangers. We would love it if people could come down and support the lads.
2pm kickoff at Drayton Beaumont Park.

Everyone at the team would like to thank Ann Salih who has kindly donated £400 to us from donations received in memory of her husband Michael Salih. The money will be used to help fund the team and ultimately help children play football which is exactly what he would've wanted.
