There's something weird about watching dad become Comic J Saunders and interact with the other acts… But all least 3 of the other members of Project COMEDY are here, including another assistance dog…!

So I'm travelling again…! Time to take Invictus Jay on a different adventure…! Looking forward to this weekend…! Dad promises me that there's going to be a lot of fuss for me over the next few days.

Five years ago, not only was I beyond cute, but I was doing amazing in my training to become Invictus Jay assistance dog. Best but was and still is, it never feels like work. It's the best game I can ever play.

With my friend…! And he's a vet…! The German military has provided full vet services to all assistance dogs here at the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023 - so this fine gentleman gave me the medications I need to return to the UK…! Amazing hosts…!

Invictus Jay really enjoyed the Gold Medal Match for the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023 Wheelchair Rugby this evening. It was so clear he was so proud of winning the Silver Medal 🥈🧑‍🦽🏉💪

I'll admit, I got so pleased as well…! To be around so many people having an amazing time and supporting each other…

Invictus Jay and I are having an amazing time, even though he's not started competing yet. Seeing him change behaviours is amazing. From formal when out and about (including when he's wearing my shirt) to cheering up when he gets triggered because there are too many people around him (because I dump a load of love on him). But it's watching him be social…! 😯 He's made so many friends on this team…! But last night was a first…! He sat in a seat that didn't have his back to the wall for the first time in at least 6 years…! And he didn't realise it for ages…! 💕 Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023 really works…!
