- Get to know why I started millstone -

Hi, I’m Liv the person behind Millstone Equine Laundry. I started this business with the hope of growing my confidence while sharing my lifelong love for horses.

Horses have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and combining that passion with a service that helps fellow horse owners has been incredibly rewarding.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Millstone Equine Laundry from the start back in 2023 or to people who have recently just discovered us — every like, share, message, and booking means the world to me. I’m excited to continue growing and helping keep your horses’ rugs clean, fresh, and ready for every season! 💙🐴

Hot weather means extra care for our horses ☀️🐴

As temperatures rise, keeping your horse cool, hydrated, and comfortable should be a top priority. Simple steps like providing fresh water, plenty of shade, exercising during cooler parts of the day, and recognising the signs of heat stress can make all the difference.

It’s also a great time to make sure your horse’s rugs, saddle pads, and fly sheets are clean and fresh. Sweat, dust, and bacteria can build up quickly during the summer months, and regular professional cleaning helps keep your horse comfortable and your equipment in top condition.

At Millstone Equine Laundry, we’re here to help keep your horse’s equipment clean, fresh, and ready for every ride.

🌞 Hot weather is the perfect time to get your horse’s gear professionally washed! 🐴

Did you know that dirty fly rugs, fly masks and saddle pads can do more than just look untidy?

As the temperatures rise, sweat, grease, dust and bacteria can quickly build up in your horse’s gear . Keeping it clean helps your horses stay comfortable and your gear last longer.

✨ Why wash your horse’s gear?

🐎 Fly Rugs
• Removes sweat, grease and dirt that can cause rubbing.
• Restores breathability to help keep your horse cool.
• Helps extend the life of the rug.

🪰 Fly Masks
• Clears away dust, pollen and grime from the mesh for better visibility.
• Removes sweat and dirt that can irritate sensitive skin around the eyes and ears.
• Keeps masks fresh and comfortable to wear.

🧺 Saddle Pads
• Eliminates sweat, hair and bacteria.
• Helps prevent skin irritation and sore backs.
• Keeps your tack cleaner and more hygienic.

☀️ Why now?
Warm weather means faster drying times, so your items can be washed, dried and back with you much quicker than during the colder months.

Let us take the hard work off your hands! Bring us your fly rugs, fly masks and saddle pads, and we’ll return them fresh, clean and ready for the rest of the season.
