You have probably noticed that Spitfires have been a little quiet lately, that’s because nearly 2 months ago, we were chucked out of our storage at Ormiston Stanley Matthews Academy, and given less than 2 weeks to remove our equipment. That meant we were officially homeless as a club. With help of from our fantastic parents, we had to move everything into storage, which we had to pay for. After looking at all other venues in the area, who were not prepared to offer storage, we have finally found a new home at Kidsgrove Sports Centre who were willing to help us, of which we are extremely grateful. Our training times are now Friday 8pm-9.30 adults with or without a disability. And Sundays 11am-12.30 juniors.
