Take a look at this goal from one of our male sides against Birmingham City 🟦

As part of our coaching syllabus, our players practice playing out from the back with this goal being a fantastic example of taking the work from training into the game.

Great team goal lads 👏

What an afternoon of girls’ football! 👏

On Friday, we welcomed 20 teams from schools across the city for our City-Wide Girls’ Football Competition, brilliantly hosted by Excel Academy. ❤️🤍

There was plenty of fantastic football, teamwork and determination on display throughout the afternoon, before St Gregory’s came out on top to be crowned our city-wide champions! 🏆

A huge well done to every team that took part, and a big thank you to Excel Academy for hosting us and helping make the event possible.

The future of girls’ football across our city is looking bright! 🌟⚽

Stoke City Foundation’s Primary Stars team have been working in local schools to help children become more active to improve their physical and mental wellbeing.

A recent Active Lives Children and Young People Survey identified that 56% of children in Stoke-on-Trent are getting less than the recommended amount of daily physical activity.

Our Playleaders intervention trains staff and children to help increase daily physical activity and ensure the young people of the Potteries are given more opportunities to move, play, and develop healthy habits that can last a lifetime.

⚽ A Great Week for Our Education Students!

Last week, our female students took part in a Strength & Conditioning session delivered by a Stoke City Foundation staff member and University of Staffordshire graduate. While some were a little apprehensive at first, they quickly got stuck in and found the session both enjoyable and beneficial. 💪

Meanwhile, our male students were busy developing their skills through futsal as part of their syllabus, helping them prepare for fixtures later in the season. ⚽🙌
