After a long and hard decision I’ve made the choice to hang up the boxing gloves, after recently turning 30 this year I’ve realised that my boxing journey would soon be coming to an end, I’ve achieved more then I expected I would when I first walked into the gym 2 years ago but since winning the Heavyweight area title I feel as though that’s it for me and not really much further for me in the sport (because of my age) I don’t want to be one of them boxers that keeps going until he’s past his best and starts getting filled in by young hungry 20 year olds 🙄🤣 found it difficult to train the last couple months down to 2 broke fingers (1 on each hand) anyone who’s boxed knows the struggling of keeping fit and keeping fight ready and then the injuries that come with it you just have to weigh up your options and my health is priority and my 5 children need a Dad they can grow up with so with that I’ll take me 8-0 record and retire undefeated 💪🏼 just wanted finish off by saying I’m sorry to anyone I’m letting down as I know I’ve built a good little following I will never forget the people that gave me support and believed in me I owe you all everything!! And too the people that are so called family and friends that never even brought a ticket from me, well you can expect the same response from me when you want any help and support🖕🏼lastly to everyone that has put in the time to train with me getting them rounds in and the people I was fortunate to meet and have shared the ring with! I wish you all nothing but the best and you will always hold my respect 👊🏼
