18th November 2018, Nantwich (A) Round of 16 League cup.
Eastwood Travelled to Nantwich in face off between the only two undefeated sides in the league. Eastwood travelled with a strong squad, with Heath, Richardson, Lawton and Foxall all ruled out with injuries.
The home side started of the better and threatened Eastwood goal, missing a sitter from 3 yards out with no one in sight. After 30 minutes in Eastwood finally got out of first gear, Unwin winning a header which fell too Majer on the corner of the box and he twated the ball straight through the keepers hands, yet Benjamin Mendy gave offside knowing full well there was a yellow shirt on the line.
40 minutes in Eastwood came close once again when Richardson drove through the Midfield and played a ball too Robinson on the edge of the box, where he worked the ball on the wand of his left boot and smacked the ball of the bar from 18 yards out.
42 minutes in Eastwood came close again when a free kick from the half way line was launched too the back stick where Robinson rose highest to nut the ball too the penalty spot, which fell too Whitehead, however the spoon footed mong sadly pea rolled the ball 1 foot wide at 1mph.
Eastwood finally hit the back of the net 44 minutes in when the home side tried too play short for the first time of the half which proved too be the wrong decision as Richardson ‘Leaned on a man’ and won the ball back, but the greedy monster didn’t play the ball through too Robinson and instead decided too calmly slot Eastwood into the lead.

Eastwood made one change at half time, bring Fielding on for Roeten.
Nothing too really comment on in the first 15 minutes of the second half, however 60 minutes in Nantwich had a throw in 10 yards into their own half, Moran pressed the ball and eventually won it and found Tudor, 40 yards from goal. The forward then played an unreal left foot ball into the path of Robinson 25 yards from goal, 1-1 with a defender. What happened next was truly unbelievable. Robinson squared the nantwich defender, did two step overs, sat the defender down after putting it through his legs and hit a bending effort which flew into the top right hand corner leaving the keeper no chance👀 and resulted in crazy celebrations, with assistant manager Dickie screaming ‘GET THAT FU**ER UP YOU’ and the lads going crazy.
Kent, Bailey, Braxton and Roeten entered the cow field, with 25-20 minutes too go. A midfield three of Robinson, Richardson and Unwin were all battling like f**k, and winning the ball back for Eastwood, however Nantwich began too pile men forward, however Braxton and Small were both on hand too shut down any chance of a shot on Halls goal, with 5/6 important headers won. Nantwich then began to have 4/5 set pieces consecutively as the referee gave some questionable decisions.
With 15 minutes to go the referee gave another questionable decision, which Richardson then said ‘What the f**king are you blowing up for now?!’ The ref then proceeding in sending Richardson too the sinbin for 8minutes.
An onslaught of nantwich corners and crossing free kicks, then came around, Robinson and Small organized the side and both were heading everything which came anyway near the eastwood goal. Hall also pulled off two or three good saves with kept the clean sheet for Eastwood, Worthington also clearing of the line with his head.
Richardson back on the pitch, Eastwood then took control of the game and with 2 minutes to go Unwin (Kantè) then played an insane ball into the path of Fielding, who just steered wide.
